So I downloaded the raw python version of the HotkeyTrainer. I wanted to have a "repeat" mechanism in the case where I made a mistake so I could burn my mistakes into my mind. I opened it up and I have to say that it is a bit messy code wise. However, I was able to make it so that you could set a configuration variable and have it repeat that many times. I set this at 10 and ran through all of my hotkey setups. I also used one of the configuration files and commented out commands I was certain that I knew. I also had to setup the default groups for TheCore for HotKeyTrainer. More work needs to be done there but the coding isn't that rough so I recommend it. Other hotkey trainers are going to be coming out for windows and I highly recommend them if you are interested.
My games vs the CPU went fairly standard. I'm having some trouble keeping up with my macro in the late game but in general my APM is rising by a few actions per day and often is larger than my average APM for this season. I'm still not fighting on the same level as before so I'm sticking to trainers and AI for the time being (hardest for now, elite soon likely).
No new Katas today, just my run through of my usual Katas. I'm thinking of doing some more advanced ones in UNIT_TEST_MAP over the next few days.
What I've realize in learning TheCore is that I honestly wasn't using my hotkeys/camera locations in any descent manner before. So I'm learning both TheCore and how to use hokeys and camera actions at the same time. The fact that I'm still able to win most games is a miracle and gives me confidence that TheCore will pay large dividends in the next 20 training sessions or so.
Thanks for reading! I'll keep posting and hopefully do some more streaming. I'll link to the vods when I do.
