Hello and welcome to my blog again!
As the title says...I have been playing DOTA 2 until like 6am today so when I woke up at 10 I only had 4 hours of sleep. Combined with the only 5 hours the night before I felt really really tired but I fought my way through the day. When practice finally started and I set the stream up I knew it was going to fail.
So the game started and everything I did was feeding the enemy team. We played really bad teams today so even though I fed a lot we were still fighting to win but in the end we always lost because I lost my lane so much. I feel really sorry for that and really I was close to throwing my whole dream of away after I didn't even get any helping words from my team mates. We were all very disappointed and I am pretty sure the whole team is angry at me for feeding so much today and throwing the games away.
Well..When I started writing that blog I reconsidered everything though and now I think I should stop being a pussy. I had a bad day and yes my team mates are angry at me but tomorrow we will practice again and I can show what I really got.
To be honest I even think today's experience is a very important one for me because it will help me in my role as a captain a lot. I might sound like a little kid looking for his mum here but after I failed so much I was really looking for the help of my team mates. Cheering me up etc. But it didn't come. And I can understand it. Before I would have been angry at a guy feeding as badly as me, too.
If this ever happens to one of my mates I know what to do now. Some nice words and it should help him to forget his bad performance. I think this is something every captain should experience once.
As always my thoughts are very random but I guess that's a part of my personality. If you got that far I thank you a lot for reading and I am really hoping for feedback.

Just keep practicing dude, everyone have their off days when nothing seems to work, just get some sleep and own another day :p

Thanks man.. I think my biggest problem is that I used to be quite good at SC2 but so "bad" at DOTA 2. I mean when I have a good day I'm pretty sure I am way better than the normal pub level but it's not nearly as good as my SC2 skill. But I got to say..Writing a blog and all really helps a lot on reflecting about these practices.. Just so I can get some order in my thoughts.

Don't worry, everyone can and will fail from time to time. Today I was playing Magnus, and the whole team was basically reliant on me getting a 3-4 man RP, and I prematurely blew one due to Blink Dagger being disabled and that was basically the game. Shit happens. Don't worry about it. Just keep playing and eventually you'll get better.

Thanks for the support man! Yeah I am looking forward to today's practice! I got a bit more sleep (about 6 hours I think) And I will try to sleep a bit in the afternoon. So today should be a good practice. Again thank you for your feedback.

Put your health first yo. Sleep is good (and come on, it feel fantastic...sometimes I wonder whether I need to downgrade my bed so that I'll get up in the morning XD)!

Theres only 24 hours in a day. You're not gonna have 10 hours of sleep, 10 hours of gaming, 10 hours of free time, 10 hours with your gf, etc...Sooner of later, somethings gotta go. For most young people, sleep is usually the first to go, but there comes a point where you simply go "Enough is enough, I'm tired of being tired" and sleep moves up on your priority list. I've reached that point last year. and looks like you reached that point too

Well..I guess sleep is necessary..An I am trying to combine sleep and my girlfriend as much as possible anyway lol. At the moment my day looks more like that:
Sleep: 6 hours School and uni: 10-12 hours (revising and homework not included) Girlfriend: 2 hours Gaming: 4-6 hours (watching streams during lectures not included)

Just random piece of info, if you stay awake no-stop for 5/7 days you will die. So just sleep already.
Worst experience I had was changing sleep cycles. When holidays came I changed my system to sleep till 12 or 2 in morning or afternoon if its 2 and game till 5 or so. wtf moment came when weekend before school I tried to break the cycle was a zombie and didn't knw wtf was going on that weekend(and no drugs were involved or alcohol).
