Gonna post this in Blogs since it's probably not thread-worthy.
Unless I'm mistaken, the "Players Near You" feature should be implemented within Wings of Liberty now with the latest patch (as of Feb. 20th, 2013).
I'm interested in finding players that are near me. How do I do this? I've explored the Battle.net UI to no avail...
Plz halp.

afaik that feature is meant to be used so that when people are on the same Networks like at MLG ect. they don't have to add each other. I'm not sure if it has any purpose unless the people you are looking for live inside your house from what I've read.

it's a network feature, not people near you in terms of location lol. think for a bit: that would cause troubles with privacy etc.
They made it specifically for MLG, because since so many computers there access battle.net from the same network, the autodetection of Blizzard thought that it was a ddos attak or something and automatically blocked it.

But you cant play offline, right?
