As a struggling low level Terran, I'm always looking for ways to improve my play. So, when the opportunity to be coached by one of the rising stars in foreign SC2 presented itself I jumped all over it.
Fresh off of his 1st place finishes at DC Lan #11, a simultaneous BW and SC2 tournament, Theognis will be teaching me how to be a better Terran.
"Ok, that's great..... but why make a blog about it?"
Well, if you knew a SC2 pro was going to be streaming a coaching session wouldn't you want to check it out? I know I would! So, this blog is my invitation to come hang out and have some knowledge bombs dropped on you, and hopefully get a better idea about who Theognis is and what he is all about.
If you have any questions for Theognis feel free to post them here, and I will try to grab a couple if he is willing to answer them.

Rough Outline of some questions I hope to get answered:

TvP:
Stay active on the map with my army? I've heard that being on the map is a really bad idea sometimes, but I also hear that Terran HAS to keep pressure on and poking around while feinting aggression. What should I be doing in terms of army movement?
Should I constantly be rallying all my units to my army out on the map, or send them in packs?
Positioning. What does it mean to you, and can you show me some examples of good army positioning.
Engagements. How can I increase my chances of a favorable engagement. In your games, do you say at the start of the game, "Ok, I know I want to fight "here" or "here?"
I'm behind on upgrades and even on bases with Protoss, but I'm maxed out with a bad unit composition. Toss is turtling really hard and has shown excellent drop defense so far. What do I do?
I often times find myself with a decent supply lead in the midgame TvP. My 3 base production will often kick in much sooner than his. But, if he is defending well I feel like I have no way to convert that mid game advantage into a win, and I will often end up maxing out on a bad unit composition. How can I avoid that?
I often times over react to aggression. I remember 1 game against an 8 gate, I dropped 6 bunkers and pulled all of my natural scvs to defend because I thought I just had to hold to win. In the end though he didn't commit to the attack and because I lost so much mining time (and cut scvs during it) he was able to tech up and expand and ended up ahead. How can I avoid over reacting to these types of things?
Macro'ing under pressure and/or versus non-standard/aggressive play. helllllllp lol
Thoughts on Filter's Bronze to Master's guide? Is it still viable?
What are mechanics to you? Do you have a "cycle" of things you go through when playing? Are you constantly going in a certain order? "supply, CC's, production, mini-map, army, supply..." or do you just try to do everything all at once/as needed?

TvT openings? 1 rax FE feels so vulnerable in HOTS. What should I be doing in this matchup?
