So the other night, I was thinking about Starcraft, and how I play the game. I was pissed because I had lost a couple 1v1 matches in a row. I had to stop and think about the game and how it really affects me.
A lot of us have a competitive side, and strive to be the best of the best. Raging, tilting, and generally being a dick are a few side effects of playing this wondrous game created by Blizzard. But then I took a step back, and realized that it's a fucking game!
I was talking to my friend Josh, and I came up with this:
The Starcraft II Pledge.
I love to trollololol noobs, but it's not worth being pissed about. Right?
Let's all take a step back and face the truth. We're never going to be pros. We're not Scarlett or Stephano, MKP or MVP, Creator nor are we MC. We're iTeach and DrChildEater. Maximus and Olie and RufiosBlade. People you've never ever heard of. Nor will you most likely, unless you get selected in a Funday Monday.
So relax please. This has probably been posted 500 million times before, but as they say on imgur, if I haven't seen it, it's new to me. It is a game, and you would be wise to remember that. Already I like playing Starcraft a lot more than I did a week ago. Here's to my ascent to diamond! Lots of smileys.
