Can anyone recommend some movies where you can see some strategic depth being played out, rather than just a predictable cop-out?
Realistic military tactics in movies?

Tears of the Sun was decent (for that aspect at least) and I believe entirely fictional. We Were Brothers is reasonable, as is Blackhawk Down (both based on real events).

if my memory serves me, i feel like black hawk down would come across as realistic enough. i cant remember what rules of engagement was like in its military parts. but it might work as well.
