So after playing a lot of ladder recently (Diamond) and watching a lot of SC2 streams, I've noticed that the # of Terran players has significantly diminished. As a Terran player myself, this is saddening to see.
FROM MY EXPERIENCE.. Terran is much harder to perform mechanically than the other 2 races (I have played all at Diamond level). It seems like it is one of the most unforgiving races and seems to demand more attention when macroing, setting up, etc.
So what are your thoughts on this?
At the moment I'm trying to decide if I even want to continue playing Terran since I have played all of the races at Diamond level. What race in your opinions, is going to have the most "fun" in HotS?

Terrain for me is one of those races that needs much work. I play protoss but it seems to me from all the races terrian especially in hots kinda got the short end of the stick. Blizzard is not sure how or what to make terrian a better race. They have added the medivac upgrades etc. Nevertheless it just seems that majority of people have more enjoyment playing toss or zerg because of the unique style of the races. Warping in units or producing a ton through larva, they have more of an appeal.

meh they dont know what they are missing. for (down in silver right now) I swear ther are no protoss D: For me I used to play a lot of protoss, but then it got boring so i switched to terran and ow im having fun again :/ Also how can you tell whats if u havent even played it yet

The skill ceiling for both protoss and zerg is much lower compared to terran and this greatly affects every player in every league except the very top koreans. This also means terran is more fun to play though, but I doubt we will ever see terran doing as well as protoss and zerg in foreign tournaments.

Its because protoss and zerg have easier production styles compaired to a terran.
Protoss warp in Zerg Larva up Terran macro every single barrack, starport, factory and have to build reactors which affects building order of units
Just different style that makes terran harder to use. I play protoss and warping in is not too hard it still is a style that is used and can be changed into having a benifit. Agression with pylon.

For me in Hots I play protoss and have enjoyed protoss very much so :D
Protoss air is now a nice option as well having a MSC saves me the hassle with rushes and not being able to defend early expos. One strategy I have been doing is a 2gate stargate Expand. Ill build up zlot, stalkers, and a sentry. While that is occuring I get a MSC and 2-3 oracles for mineral harassing and keep them alive for time warp move ( I forgot name ). I found that as long as I do good damage w oracle then defend expo on counter its a gg.
Oracles are extremely powerful, they are the sentrys for air . They do an amazing job at melting workers and if done correctly pay off quickly!

From the way HotS is going, I think Protoss is going to have the most fun and Zerg is going to have the least. We haven't seen many changes to Zerg WoL units, the Swarm Host is very one-dimensional, and generally Zerg only gets new toys in the mid-to-late-game where they already shine.
I think Terran will be in the middle because we don't get super exciting new toys like the Oracle and Mothership Core, but we do get the Widow Mine, changes to Mech/Air upgrades, a few redesigns of WoL units, and finally a buff to Bio in the late-game.

For a diamond player it doesn't really matter tho.

Terrans have won as many gsl titles as zerg; same in mlg. maybe in europe terrans are having a rough time..

you realize most of those Terrans are the top end koreans he was talking about. He said foreign (non korean) Terrans aren't shining.
