EPTThis all changed untill I learned about the 4gate. After a few weeks I was in gold suddenly. Then I learned how to play macro games and I got into Platinum. Then I was stuck there for a while untill I promoted to Diamond, and then I got demoted right away after 2 weeks, lol. Then Diamond again, and I quitted all the other games what I played; RuneScape, CoD MW/BO, Battlefield.
I wanted to play like I never did, spend some time on watching vods from the likes of HuK, HerO, MC, Creator etc etc etc. Then, I went on holidays, 3 weeks. No SC2, no streams, no MLG, no Dreamhack and so on. I came back, slumped for two weeks, untill a good friend of mine said to me: "Hey man, I know you can do much better then this, let me coach you and see where your skill ceiling is." This good friend is still helping me, and thanks to him I finally got what I wanted.
After weeks of playing against Masters players, losing to 7-9 pools against zergs, losing to 11 minute stim timing pushes. Hell, even against DT drops. I learned how to defend this, learned how to play even better macro games, learned to harass, learned to do my own style.
I finally got promoted to Masters.
(and I feel like a little fangirl because I am in the same division as Demuslim).
