For those of you who though Injection Styles was either a girl blog, a prison blog, or a heroin blog (?) no.
I have used like 6 injection styles today. Which one do you think is the most efficient? I can't tell when I'm using them.
1) Idra: 5 queen 6 queen 7 queen Benefit of this is keeping queens seprate, going to bases without F1 F2 etc
2) All on 1 Hotkey, using location hotkeys on bases, keeping all queens injecting bases Easy to top Air, can still incorporate location hotkeys into your play
3)No queens hotkeyed, all bases on location hotkeys Room for seprate baes on your hotkeys, like DRG (4 for main, 5 nat, 6 third, nestea would have all on 7 i think)
4) Queens hotkeyed, bases hotkeyed By this i mean like queens on 4 base on 5 base on 6 etc
5) Just to bring it up, Stephano has a cool hotkey setup with things like patrol on like w, hold position on q (i may be wrong, but it seems to keep fingers close together), he only uses 1-4 (1-2 units 3 all queens, 4 baes) and clicks on the map to get to bases while having all the queens hotkeyed to inject.
6) Backspace inject method, i dont do this because it seems really inaccurate whenever I do it, also the only people I see do this are like machine and maybe Violet
What do you use for inject? Do you just not inject (fond of broodwar?)? My last few games I was using bases on 1-3 for units, bases on 4, queens on 5, creep spread queen early game on 6, upgrades on 7+8, overlords on the map at 9, and when i get one, a nydus on 0.

The all caps is the fake mod text, I believe. Plus, he'd be a nuke instead of a lockdown if he were banned.
Anyways, the best inject method, imo, is the one used on this hotkey layout. If that's not your thing, then I'd go with backspace injects with base cam on W.

On the topic of injecting, for the longest time I would use a modified base-camera method with spacebar, and put all my queens on 6. But that (as you will quickly discover when you are trying to improve) becomes really messy when the game gets difficult and queens can end up going every which way.
I highly suggest completely unbinding your queens, and injecting manually with camera hotkeys. Not only will that remove dependency on an inefficient method but it will also force you to use camera hotkeys more often as well, making your play look like it's from a completely different game.
If i played zerg i would inject with the minimap, it just seems alot more effecient to me. When i offrace i use hotkey all the queens to 1 hotkey and use minimap.
I'm somewhat surprised the mods didn't follow through on the mega-martyr's fake ban note. In a forum where "please don't ban me" will send you on at least a 2-day trip to Disneyland, two posts and several follow-up edits that seem to be written for the sole purpose of ticking off the mods would seem to deserve more than a warning initially. Benefits of a thousand posts, I guess. As for injecting, I would use camera hotkeys with all your injecting queens on one hotkey, and all hatcheries on another. This strategy has most of the speed of the almost supernaturally fast backspace method, as well as all of the accuracy of the other methods.
