Well, after a long, desperate battle with Youtube's upload systems, I have at last succeeded in uploading my epic, feature-length, clay animated, stop motion, science fiction movie to youtube. Enjoy!
Keep in mind that this is an actual, feature-length movie. If you want the full experience, you can set aside enough time to watch the whole thing...but you can also watch it in smaller chunks if you wish, whenever you wish.
My brother and I spent most of the last two summers filming, recording dialogue for, and editing this film. I sincerely hope you enjoy it...
two hours :O btw some1 posted on the youtube vid "exellent man! " I wanted to see how good animation was w the clay, not too bad for just two people. well i skipped to 7 minutes and saw the scene where the guy and girl talk, and the guys like "im so glad the duck made it" after being totally rejected for conversation, and then she's like "i hate ducks" I got a good laugh thank you
Wow. This must have taken a lot of patience and time to make.... but for those of us who don't have 2 hours can you recommend any specific particularly interesting/exciting scenes? It's also fairly difficult to actually watch since the camera shakes and the background moves while the characters are talking.
The camera shaking gets muuuuch, much better after the first few scenes, FWIW, especially after the first scene on the duck planet.
As for recommended scenes, about 17:20 through 23:25 is fun, 24:35 through 29:32 is better, there's a nice battle scene at 32:44 through 33:45, 47:30 through 50:42 is entertaining, 51:27 through 56:57 is our best extended dialogue scene, and 1.01:35 through is suitably creepy and exciting. If you like those, though, I'd just recommend watching the film in smaller chunks as the desire takes you. That way, you can get more of the plot without getting overwhelmed.
