Recently I started laddering again and received a huge upswing of ZvZ games. My last ~11/15 games have been ZvZ and to counteract those ZvZ games i've come up with a new strat. Cheese. Every. ZvZ.

I just shrug it off and go along with ladder but wait the next game I get the EXACT SAME GUY and this time how the tables have turned.

Well surely its a 6 pool I mean there is no way this man who is so much better than me is going to lose to a 14 gas / 14 pool.

I've always wondered why the go to phrase after losing is "you're soo bad". I dont get it, are they not insulting themselves even more by saying that?

The response of small minds coping with their lack of skill and thought. It's a defense mechanism like every other. Laugh at the kids and young adults that act like kids and move on.

Who is worse, those who cheese or those who fail to stop the cheese? I'd say that cheese is just another weapon in your arensal that you can use. If you can't stop a "cheese" strat, which is used to catch you off guard, regardless of skill level, then you are the worse player of the two. Calling the other player bad is due to them trying to convince themselves that they are competent players and that they should be able to stop cheese if they want to advance in terms of skill.
