This blog will attempt to document my story and progression of getting better as Starcraft. I want to explore the scene of the newbie, almost totally new to (Real time Strategy) RTS and how you come to grips with this alien world.
I brought SC2 when it came out and was totally blown away by how awesome it was, unfortunately my computer at the time sucked so I ended up using it to watch some fantastic stuff from Day9, Husky and some live Stream/Matches etc. However now I'm back, with a new machine and a huge lust for building those zergling minions to battle my foes.
Having thought a bit on how I would document this journey, I have decided to start with a complete SC1/BW and SC2 campaign progression via video capture and supplement with this blog, maybe just post up links and comment on stuff I forgot in the video. This way I can get better acquainted with the story, learn some of the fundamentals and get into the swing of casting my playing.
In terms of my RTS history, it's basically a bit of C&C and the SC2 campaign and a few practice matches. Having watched a lot of the scene over the past year and many casts I feel somewhat prepared but like anything, if you don't actually play, you will never get good. So here I go...
