EPTSo this is my first blog post so i will start by telling a little about myself. I am a Platinum terran player on NA that has played sc2 since season one. I havn't really played competitivly until the start of 2012 when I joined my first team. Now, as I struggle (as many do) to find the motivation to play and improve. This got me thinking what motivates the pros.
Besides the fact that they do it for a living, the main thing I believe is their motivation is the drive of competition. Therefore, I believe if we can give more drive to compete to lower players, then we can have more players trying harder to improve.
I believe if we had a NASL style leauge (for lower players) this could definatly motivate people to imporve because they have more than ladder ranking to work for. Now i see many problems with this idea. For example, how would we manage it? How would we choose which players to let in? What would be the best format? I am researching and working on this myself but any feedback from you guys would be awesome. Also if you are interested in helping do this shoot me a pm.
