When we last left off, General Echone had crushed a tiny army in West Prussia, and claimed the territory from the Polish. Meanwhile, General Kaal had besieged the capitol of Saxony, Dresden.
Saxony is just a one territory nation, but they directly border my capitol. But since they are just a one territory country, that means their army is all in one place. The battle here promises to be much larger than the one fought in West Prussia!
The garrison at Dresden is roughly the same size as the army Kaal is leading against it. I have my spy, Spazer, in Dresden already. Lets check out who is leading the forces there:
Apocalpse. While he is a noob who associates "Char" with Infinite Stratos, and then says "I've been meaning to watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes to find out who Char is", he does have one troubling trait. Apparently hes good at defending. Well, Apoc, I'm not gonna let you have a shot at that!
YEHHH GONNA ASSASSINATE YOU, GO GET HIM, SPAZER!
NOOOO SPAZER
Spazer fucked up! Apoc lives! Fortunately, Spazer is still alive too. Would have sucked if I lost my spy so early. But he made me look bad. I'll give Spazer another shot. End turn.
I get a Polish Envoy. They are probably scared shitless, and want peace. Let's see what they want:
WTFFF, they want to pay like 400 gold in order to get West Prussia back. Well, they can suck my dick. I got a better deal for them...
"How bout you give me Lithuania, and still pay me gold, and I won't wipe your ass off the globe?" Sounds like a perfectly fair deal to me! The Polish refuse for some reason. They will live to regret this.
Meanwhile...
There is some spy causing problems in my country! Unfortunately, I have no idea whose spy it is. Probably one of my enemies, but it could be Austria. They be hatin.
Okay, my turn again! You are up again, Spazer!
Get fucked, Apoc. Spazer has successfully murdered General Apoc, commander of Saxony's army. With him dead, I'm ready to attack the city. It doesn't seem like besieging the city does much.
Battle of Dresden
General Kaal lines his forces up on the North side of the city. The Saxon forces are on the other end. We are in the middle of a summer storm. Is the sky weeping. Lets start this.
The Saxon forces are moving West, and into the city. It seems like they don't want their main force going house to house, and are going to go around.
The Saxon force emerges before a field, sets up their cannons, and advances. Kaal sets up his forces on the other side of the field, and awaits their advance.
However, not their entire army is moving across the field, as they sent some units through the west side of town, probably hoping to turn my flank. However, Kaal is properly deployed, and meets these forces in battle.
Saxony foolishly tries to break my line with a cavalry charge, but they are shot to pieces, and are routed. While this is happening however, the bulk of the Saxon Army is crossing the field, and getting ready to engage Kaal's forces.
I blame Kaal for me not knowing how to properly line up my groups! The Saxons engage me, but my forces aren't lined up properly! Lucky, I do have one properly lined up group in the treeline to the left, which rains death on the attacking Saxons.
Kaal reorganizes his forces, and begins to route the enemy.
Meanwhile, the troops that attacked through the city have also been routed. The battle is all but over now. The Saxon's are practically in full retreat.
Now the Cavalry has been brought into play, running down retreating forces. There are barely any left to offer battle, and the Saxon army is running for their lives.
One of the last organized enemy units! Their cannon group! Why did I choose to attack this group with Kaal's personal unit? Shut up.
Kaal's bodyguards take massive causalities, but so do the cannons. Kaal himself is unharmed.
With all the enemy forces routed, the battle is decided. Heroic Victory. Kaal absolutely crushed the Saxon forces, taking Dresden.
Compared to the losses inflicted on the enemy, Kaal's forces barely took looses.
Nation Destroyed. Saxony is now part of the Prussian Empire. Now, all thats left is to pacify Lithuania-Poland.
Winter, 1702:
Austrian forces are massing up. We are not at war yet, but this troubles me. Kaal's new task will be to keep an eye on them. I do want to fuck Austria in the future, but for now, I gotta take care of Poland. Austria is supposed to be one of the stronger countries, so for now, I'll let them be.
Additionally, a small Polish Army entered into East Prussia, and raided some villages and stuff, doing damage to my infrastructure. Echo goes off in pursuit, chasing them all the way to Warsaw.
Summer, 1703, EchOne leads his army into Poland, and besieges Warsaw. For the first time in King Sentenal's campaign of European Domination, Prussians are out-numbered. Echo's 1278 troops, against 1557 men on the Polish side. This is setting up to be one of the largest, most important battles in the war with Lithuania-Poland. Echo is out-numbered, deep in enemy territory, and has no Agent Support like Kaal did. But does he give a fuck?
Find out next time.
