EPTSo recently I have been exploring several things I would like to do to keep my self busy. I thought of a bunch of stuff but the idea of starting a Vlog is something that has always interested me. While what exactly will the Vlog series be about is still a work in progress, I do have a few ideas and I would like your feedback if you do have.
I have been freelancing video game articles and reviews for around two years now. Video Games are big part of my life and talking about them and discussing games as well as the overall state of the industry are both things I really love to do. So I was thinking of starting a Vlog series related to video games. I don't want to do news since that is something that is being done everywhere. What I wanted to do is to create a (hopefully) weekly series, where I pick a single topic and discuss it in a 5-10minute video. Example of topics include: discussing certain genres such as platformers and how they shifted over time, talking specifically about a certain series of games and examining their impact and what they created, or even discussing things such as the next generation of consoles and when would be the right time for them to pop up. All in all, they are usually going to be topics that are directed on a specific issue and each video will only discuss that issue.
Another thing is that I lack the equipment to start a full fledged vlog. I've got a webcam, my phone (Galaxy Note), and Sony CyberShot that can shoot HD video. I don't want to go ahead and buy something expensive if this ends up being a one of thing, so I will start with what I have.
My question to you is what do you think about this? Would you be interested in watching it?
