So, never being one to pass up a good laugh, I made myself a pair of ESPORTS Aviators, (Thankyou Amazon, for stocking Sharpie paint pens despite their not being distributed in the UK) and proceeded to wander on down to my local barcraft for MLG Spring Championships last night.
Aside from a brief reveal to a few of the guys (and girls) as we went to get some delicious Korean food beforehand, (Tasteless is so right about Bulgogi being delicious), I waited until the moment was right before I ESPORTSed it up.
Below is a tale of what happened to those glasses afterwards.
Yours Truly, reppin' ESPORTS.
Direct Quote: "These are so impractical" "Yeah but who cares about that?"
Mysterious glow. Magic? Manifestation of superpowers? Camera flash?
Definitely stylin'. And I don't just mean DJWheat and Apollo.
My irish friend decided he was a teenage girl for this shot. Looks good on him. Later, we made him carrier rush.
Our BarCraft is pretty metal.
Little known fact - The only thing more metal than Slayer is ESPORTS.
The great indoors, sunglasses that can't be looked through, and a mean lean grillin' machine manned by a zealot. I can't see what could possibly go wrong here.
The sunglasses get a thumbs up. This guy gets a thumbs up too.
Upside down sunglasses are killing ESPORTS.
9/10 manchester BarCrafters agree, we've found TLO's long lost cousin.
This is Andy. He does an awful lot for the Manchester Barcraft. More than almost anyone else in fact.
Except maybe John. He does an awful lot for the Manchester Barcraft too. Andy and John are awesome, can't be denied.
Lets be honest, this picture is just cute. And awesome. Cutesome.
The other lovely lady from the previous picture also posed for a picture on her own.
This is a man at a bar. A barman, if you will. He makes great cocktails. Ask for a Zombie. He'll love you forever. (Maybe)
I brought a spare pair of normal sunglasses, in case I actually needed some sunglasses I could see through. So did our friendly neighbourhood bartender. The results speak for themselves.

This is so much better than that last 'esports glasses' thread.

I should really get in on this Barcraft stuff...
I'm pretty sure the place we went to was Seoul Kimchi, just off Oxford Road. It was really really good! Never been to the other place, in fact, was my first time eating Korean food at all, and I fail hard at using chopsticks, but who cares right? Delicious is delicious!

five of five for esports!
Very cool pics, looks like a lot of fun was had.

It was Bandibul Korean Restaurant just on Mosley Street, we were supposed to be going to Seoul Kimchi but too many people showed up and Seoul Kimchi was too small so we had to go somewhere else, both are really good places though so if you are in the area go to either

Ahhh, I'll have to remember that! It wasn't even too expensive, which was nice.

Haha. Why do all the women show up at manc barcraft as soon as I move to New Zealand? http://i.imgur.com/8QmIp.gif I lol'd hard when I saw Dimitris.
Manchester Barcraft is definately the best Barcraft in England imo, simply because of the fact it's so unique and alternative compared to London etc.
edit: there's a place called Seoul Kimchi thats very near to Kyoto Lounge that does Korean food. Their beef bulgogi is TO DIE FOR!
