EPTLong story short I took the Amtrak from NY to SF via Chicago and a multitude of other cities. It was an amazing experience and I got to see so many different places in the course of just four days. I went on this trip with two of my high school buddies, and while we took a ton of pictures I was retarded to not pick up postcards or something else iconic from each of the major cities (SF, Chicago) as well as the smaller cities (Omaha, Denver) for my sister.
My sister's birthday is this weekend and I wanted to bring the trip to her since she's just about to start high school and not really on her way to traveling across the country. Given my carelessness, I only have the L.A postcard and was surprised to see that there weren't any good sources for contemporary postcards online (a seemingly good site, zazzle.com, is all vintage and user-created designs).
TL, I have a huge favor to ask. Citizens of SF, Chicago, Omaha, and Denver -- could you mail me postcards from your respective cities this week through first class mail (costs like what 50 cents) to me in Alabama unmarked (as if I personally picked up the postcard... I'm grimy but sorry)? My sister and I reside in NYC, but I'm in Bama for the week. I will send you guys a New York postcard in return.
