For those of you who care, here is a little bit about me. + Show Spoiler +
I never played an RTS before SC2, I used to be a pretty good CS1.6 player though. But with 1.6 dying in the UK I decided to switch over to SC2 when the beta got released. During the beta I placed in copper, but managed to work my way up to high bronze/low silver before it ended. During the time between beta and release I spent an hour every day playing on the multitasking trainer map, and by the time the game was released I got placed into diamond. By the end of season 2 I had reached my goal of becoming a masters player. Although sadly this is where I lost my motivation. Ever since then I find it hard to practice as much as I could be doing. A few weeks ago I just breached "GM level", but was then faced with a bit of financial difficulty and had to start spending more time working. Since then I have dropped all the way down to mid masters again. But now I have some time to train, and I am going to use the blog post as a way to keep my self motivated for the whole week, and as a way to track my progress.
So with that being said, I start today. I will edit this blog post at the end of each day so I can keep track of my progress. If there is anyone mid-high masters EU players out there who would like to train/help me, give me a PM and let me know.
Thanks
Day 1 + Show Spoiler +
10 games in, 7PvZ's, 2 PvP's one guy 2gated me other guy cannon rushed me, 1 PvT where he 1-1-1'ed. Now I remember why I lost my motivation...
Day 2 + Show Spoiler +
First 10 games of today have been better than yesterday, mainly because I haven't had to play the same matchup over and over again. Getting slightly frustrated with late game PvP, there seems to be no "answer". Sometimes I have better unit comp, but worse upgrades and lose, some times the other way round. Really hard to tell whats really going on in war of the worlds fights. Really hate the collosus but seems vital in lategame PvP.
