EPTFor 3 years I have been attending university for Financial and Business Economics
(at york university in Toronto)
My grades have not been hot because to be honest I hated it every god damn day
but I continued in it because every year I was in it I was like well I've already invested so much why go switch majors.
I only got into this major because my parents didnt let me go for psychology, but now they realize that business is not for me(took them a while)
Anyway Going into 3rd year I had to take a "special" program in which we could continue to study at the university or take a year off.
Anyway I decided to take the course instead of taking a year off(my GPA isnt bad, but its just underline boderline acceptable)
The course was mindblowing easy it was def not a course for me as my Proffessor noticed I was beyond all the mental capacities of the students in the course(about 500 students total) and actually wondered how a bright student like me ended up in the "rut"
Its simple, if you dont like it, no matter how smart you are you will never achieve full potential because your mentality will bring you down.
and oddly enough today I was listening to motivational speeches to help out my starcraft carreer, but thats another story for another day.
I have this on repeat now. It absolutely amazing and true.
You cant listen to people all your life and that pretty much what I have been doing
My brother is the engineer/lawyer who graduated from the best schools in canada
my other brother is a hot shot flying businesman in europe making $500k euro a year
and not listening to them seems a bit crazy right?
I mean what do you really know when youre 18 and have to choose your major in highschool
So this year was a journey of finding what i like.
For one i love eSPORTS. I love being a semi-pro working harder everyday to "make it"
I love helping people more than anything. That is why I coach people for free and my team.
So i decided I wanted to be police officer this year
a)I cant stand seeing myself working an office job rest of my life, im more of an active person
b)Maybe as a police officer I can change the day, save someone etc
c)im already a pretty buff guy and guns have always interested me haha.
Anyway, I wanted to thank god I was able to continue.
cause I didnt do to well this semester but they let me continue.
So kids, as The Terminator said
listen to you not your parents your teachers
only you know what you want!
Take it from someone who had to learn the hard way
take it easy guys.
