Now back to my first sentence of this whole blog. Safe to say I was not happy. I did manage to read the whole thing, but yeah paragraphs please. Honestly, if you really want to get stream viewers; stream something other than SC2 1v1s. There are hundreds of people streaming that, and dozens of pro players. Stream BW, stream SC2 custom games, nexus wars, just something different. | ||

I guess I should start of introducing myself since im not a well known person in this community. My name is Mark Rogers. I am currently going to college at the University of Nevada, Reno. I am studying computer science and engineering. I was studying Civil Engineering, but it was too much physics for me and not enough problem solving skills being used. So i decided to switch my major and am really happy with it. It takes up a lot of my time, so I am mostly doing work and schoolwork. When Im not doing those things or hanging out with my girlfriend I am playing starcraft or watching it. So Ive been playing starcraft since I was a little middler schooler. When I played broodwars, I was little and not competitive at all. I mostly played custom games like the civilwar one where you had a general and an army and ran around destroying little town militias and cannons to level yourself up. ( Sidenote: If someone would make that for SC2 I would deeply apriciate it.) When I heard starcraft 2 was coming out I was so excited I could hardly focus on school or anything until I bought it. When I first opened it up and installed it on my computer and logged on, I was really dissapointed. Not because I didnt like the campaign, quite frankly I was instatic about that, but the custom games were mostly lame, and it was nothing like broodwar. What I didn't know then though is that I was going to actually love the competitive aspect to this game. Now I am an almost addict to this game. I play a lot even though Im not that good. I aspire to be though. Now I am like top 25 gold depending on how much I've been playing recently. I really am hoping to just keep getting better the more I play. Now back to my first sentence of this whole blog. I recently decided it would be a good idea to start streaming so I could get some input on not only how I am playing, but also builds and stratigies I should be using to get to be a masters player. The problem with this is that its hard to get viewers on your stream when there are pros who stream, and they always will as long as it is a source of revenue for them. So after a couple of streaming sessions of only myself viewing, or just my friends viewing I decided I should find a way to come up with more people who will help me get better, and enjoy my streaming. So I decided I will start this blog along with just keeping myself busy streaming and telling my clan friends/ real friends to watch me. To make this long story short I will be coming on here a couple times a week to track my progress for anyone who is interested in this. I would also like those people come and watch my stream and help me. I don't really want trolls to tell me I suck. Im aware that I'm not a proplayer, and because of time commentments probably never will be. I do want on the other hand nice people to come and help me and get my playing level up. I will mostly be streaming 1v1s and some team games when I play them. I also would like to do some tourniments at some point, but need to be playing at a higher level before I will feel comfortable enough to do so.
