Try that on a mouse without drift control or angle snapping and I think you'd be pulling your hair out.

its the g500 and for years before this i had mx 518
and yea i cant just use any mouse, i tried the mamba between the mx518 and the g500, and i took it back after 2 days, i just couldnt adjust, and that mouse was almost impossible to lift from the ends

I think adding a 'mouse-cam' alone is kind of unique, not to mention your weird ass grip. I have seen Grubby and WhiteRa do something similar (I think they just show keyboard). And, you'd have to be at least mid-Masters for people to care to tune in, imo.

i do sometime actually. and i do all pc activity like this. when i got my first pc 15 years ago, this is how i grabbed the mouse. and its been like this since.....and ive tried to switch to norm, im just tooo used to this way. and the scrollwheel feels very normal for me.

It's definetly weird but you shouldn't care if it works for you and if you're fast enough and your clicks are accurate.
Check out the Day[9] Daily where he talks about mechanics and look if you can imitate what he does (boxing, clicking units individually ...etc).
I don't know your league but if you feel that you can't get promoted because of your mechanics think of eventually train with a different 'grip' like the "palm grip". It's always better to change quickly, the longer you wait the harder the change will be.

since ive been using it this way for so many years, im probably better off just staying this way. im left handed, so my right hand dont adjust quickly.
im high diamond atm, but my apm is low, and my mouse speed isnt fast, so the thought has crossed my mind that that could be the reason

I hold my mouse like that but worse ( its facing away from keyboard ) im guessing your left handed? im left handed and i use the mouse with my right hand im guessing thats why its being held like that
