EPTPeople often ask if it bothers me to be born on Feb 29th but on the contrary I find it quite pleasant. It is undoubtedly the most awesome day of the year because it is not always there and when it is, it's just a bit more satisfying . Every other year I still go out for drinks and stuff with my friends and it changes nothing from your normal birthday party. People talk a bit about the day not being there and smart-asses jokes about the fact that I'm only 5 years old.
But when the real day comes it's pretty great because everybody realize that not only its your bday but it's been 4 years since the last "real" date has come. Too bad that it's on a Wednesday, I guess I'll have to wait 2020 for Saturday Feb 29th but anyway, cool day nonetheless.
