you seem to have this well thought out. I don't think you mentioned the race you're playing though. Care to give us a little bit of background info? I wish I was in your shoes, unfortunately I have bills to pay T-T

Also, what was the selection process like to get you in the house and what are their expectations of you as a players as you stay there. I'm nothing special, My only accomplishment I'm proud of at the moment is being top 8 master constistantly and improving on that. I play in NA playhem every day but usually hit pretty hard players early on. I don't know how the selection process went on their end but I messaged the manager of the project with interest and we started talking. I guess I was in the right place at the right time because he thought I would be a good addition to the house, and hopefully it could help kick start my career. As for staying there we're paying on a monthly basis and signing 3 month minimum contracts, I don't know how often players will get cycled out, but I don't think there is going to be a rush to do so. At least I hope.

I wish I was in your shoes, unfortunately I have bills to pay T-T My main race is Protoss, My off races are terrible lol. Background as a player there isn't much to tell, I'm still an average player just trying to improve. I recently have been picked up by team Legion (lgn.the-legion.net) to represent them in the future. Being on LgN opens a lot of doors for me with better practise partners and the right staff to hopefully make my baby steps of becoming a pro a little easier to follow. I participate in as many online tournaments that I can and have been streaming as much as I can handle. My goal right now is to get my name around as much as possible through streaming, blogs/vlogs, coaching, tournaments, and other events through living in the Poland house.
Besides being a Starcraft II player I was very actively trying to become a professional Paintball player, I had the chance to play western CXBL last season (It's pretty much canadian pro, but canada bro isn't anything like USA pro), But due to the western conference shutting down and my exsisting knee injury I quit playing all together. I live in Calgary, Alberta and have my entire life. There isn't much else exciting to tell, Thanks for reading through my wall of text and I appreciate all the support I have gotten thus far, it makes me feel like I have a slim chance of making something out of it all. =]

Oh wow I totally opened this expecting to see the same old bull shit, but moving into a gaming house is a legit step, how are you paying for this? Also when can we see pictures from inside the house? How did you come by all this? MORE DETAILS!!!

I'm paying for this from saving to begin with, I have budgeted out 6 months without any coaching, add revenue from streams, or other forms of small incomes. I'm hoping within 6 months, practising 11 hours a day, and participating in as many online tournaments as I can to get my name out and take the next step in my career and possibly get a financial sponsorship. I'm going to be focusing on improving and representing team Legion to the best of my ability and continue my future with them. From what I understand, The manager of the project has been visiting/living in the house over the past few weeks and will be updating with pictures soon(I hope). I seen the post on TL and was interested, I messaged the manager of the house and we hit it off. From there everything fell into place.

Hey man, just saw the link to here from reddit.
Really awesome seeing more people get serious about pro-gaming and I wish you the best of luck. Judging from the OP it seems like you have the right mindset and I hope you don't ever lose the passion you have now. Just remember what makes the greats different from the average people is playing when you feel like it, playing when you don't feel like it, and playing when you hate it.
Being in your position without the means to move away from my current life to anywhere of the sort like Warsaw I found this very inspiring to improve on my own play.
Never give up. I'll add your stream to my favorites to support my fellow Canadian and drop in from time to time.

It's a great feeling =]!

You're different and will make it just because you live in a pro house? I don't really see how that puts you in such an advantageous position. Unless it's full of korean pros or something, having a team and messaging capabilities of the internet already allow for strong accessibility of players from the convenience of your own home.

Never said I'm going to make it, but it's a step in the right direction. I guess you haven't looked into the benefits of living in a house with other players, especially ones of a higher skill level than my own.

Just for my own sake can you define what Pro means to you. In my book your already half way you just need to start placing highly in more tournaments. If you wondering where I'm coming from. :D
|
Pro to me , at least while talking about Starcraft 2 is a player that makes a living from the game, can take games of any player, and is recognized by the community. In some situations my definition of pro makes me think twice, There are a lot of unknown players that go about winning, or placing very well in tournaments. They have been that good for a long time before their breakout performance, but to me being able to show the results is "breaking into the scene".
Actually I'm going to restate that a bit. To be there are pros, and recognized pros. I want to be a recognized pro, like I said above.

Good Luck man! I wish you a fun adventure and alot of mental strength :D
