Game 1
To begin with, we have Kazen, the Imperial Terran, taking on Adrenal, Durham’s Random player. Apparently there was a bit of miscommunication on Durham’s side, with Adrenal actually wanting to play Protoss, but in accordance with the rules, he had to play random. Spawning as Terran on Dual Sight, Adrenal opened up with a Reaper expand build. Unfazed, Kazen simply presses forwarded with marines and tanks. Adrenal desperately throws down bunkers, but marines in bunkers are out-ranged by tanks, even without siege mode. Kazen continues to push into Adrenal’s main, his 1-1-1 putting a massive dent in his opponent’s base. With his production facilities in shambles, Adrenal pulls everything, but it just isn’t enough, and Kazen takes the win.

Fast expanding in a mirror match-up is always a risky business, but not making units when under pressure is even worse. Kazen pushed slowly and methodically, not overextending his tanks, and happily streaming reinforcements across the map. Adrenal’s Stim finished quite early, but instead of trying to break out, he chose to sit back, allowing Kazen to mass up a ridiculous number of tanks that no amount of marines could overwhelm.
Game 2
Off to a shaky start, the Terran Gen from Durham tries to even up the series with some fast cloaked banshees against Dragonite on Xel-Naga caverns. The Imperial Protoss expanded early, but still got observers in time to hold off the banshees with ease. Gen continues with the newly popularized mech play, focusing on thors and banshees, but a critically mistimed harassment attempt with the banshees leaves his main army vulnerable. Dragonite’s chargelots and Colossus make short work of Gen’s ground troops, and force him back to 2 bases, while the un-microed banshees pick off an assimilator and a cannon. Although Dragonite doesn’t push his advantage, his next push utterly annihilates what Gen has left with mass feedbacks and storms, and Imperial goes up 2-0.
Templar - the answer to Terran mech

Neither player had the advantage, until that crucial moment. The banshees splitting off from the main army allowed Dragonite to destroy most of Gen's army, without doing any noticeable amount of damage in return. The game just snowballed from there, with Dragonite throwing down some great feedbacks and storms to close out the match.
Game 3
The deciding game takes place on Scorched Haven – SpartaN’s Terran and YuM’s Protoss looking to end the series for Imperial, while Henx’s Terran and Andy’s Protoss making their stand for Durham. The early game passes without event – both teams playing it safe with near identical openings, before expanding. The first large move is by Durham – a sizable force of Tanks and Colossus set up outside Imperial’s base, while expanding to the center gold base. However, SpartaN’s Vikings drive off the Protoss walkers before landing in the middle of the tanks and forcing a retreat. Durham makes a stand by their gold base, resulting in a massive brawl. Heavy losses are incurred on both sides, but as the smoke clears, Durham’s gold base is still intact. A little overconfident, Durham pushes forward, but the anvil of SpartaN’s tanks, coupled with the hammer of YuM’s Colossus, halt their advance. Despite this, Imperial is starting to come under economic pressure – both of them have 60 workers on a single expansion. Forced to make a move, they claim the high ground ridge, and lay waste to Andy’s gold base, before rotating down and denying Henx his expansion as well. With both teams running low on resources, a standoff occurs – tanks staring down at each other, just out of range, while both teams try to take the top and bottom expansions.
Tank stalemate
In desperation, Andy pulls most of his probes, and breaks through SpartaN’s siege line, while YuM’s Dark Templar chew through a large amount of Henx’s forces. Durham barrels down another expansion, but YuM’s tech switch to Void Rays leaves all the tanks and colossi vulnerable, and Durham is driven back once again. At long last, Imperial makes a push for the center gold bases. Durham throws everything in, but although they burn through Imperial's ground forces, there are just too many void rays in the air, and Durham finally throws down the good game!

A very long game. Sparse drops here and there, but both teams just ended up massing Tanks/Colossus and having a long standoff before hurling everything into the meat grinder, twice. The ball flew back and forth, with neither team able to keep a firm grasp on it. In the end, Durham just didn't respond well enough to YuM's mass void rays, which focused down all the enemy Vikings, and then disintegrating everything Durham had on the ground.
