Lorka 1-base attacked with 6 cloaked banshees at 10:50. I had 28 marines and 2 scans. I held off his banshees, though he took out a lot of workers. By 17:13 I attacked an army of 4300 vs 2250. I won. While not a great game technically, I proved to myself that I am capable of learning and improving. Banshees used to destroy me in practice games, but this time I was ready. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

This game had 11 seperate major battles with several bases destroyed. I had a small advantage in the first half, but he had the advantage in the 2nd. I lost but I felt good about the quality of the loss. And after the game, nRvana called me 'sir' and said I should have won! What a great competitor. While watching the replay, I noticed that I had fogotten to rally a couple of barracks. So there were 37 marines in a corner of my base who never fired a shot in anger. I'll call them the "Hearth Guard." There were also 26 workers sitting around in my main with no minerals. I call them "The Union".
Final Placement Result: I am officially #100 Silver League. I am also afraid to play again for fear of being banished to Bronze League. Before I play another league game, I think I'm going to learn how to make Marauders. Mmm, M&M. I can already taste it now. It tastes victory.
