To start off, I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to playing Starcraft 2, although I do watch Livestreams and am interested in Starcraft 2. The race I play is Terran, I tried Protoss and Zerg, and just wasn't as keen on them compared to Terran, I started playing in late Season 4, I did play in the beta a little bit as well, I was terrible at SC2 then as well. Im on the EU server as well.
I started Season 5 just before Christmas, did my placement and lost (against Terran, my worst Matchup) so I got demoted from Gold to Silver, I wasn't too annoyed about that as I would say I am not a Gold player, if anything Bronze or Silver, so being in the Silver league is fine for me.
So I don’t play too many matches at a time, or as frequent as I should, I don’t actually know why, I just say to myself “I will do a few matches today” and end up watching Streams instead or doing something else, When I do play though, I end up losing.
I have played roughly, 10 matches (Give or take a couple) and only won 2, and one of them if I remember correctly was from the person just quiting straight away, after each match I watch the replays to see where I went wrong, what to improve on etc, it is fairly helpful, so I end up trying another match or two, and end up losing.
The main two things I have noticed throughout all my replays, is that I don’t know when to attack, I usually end up doing it at the completely, by the time I do attack the opponent usually has double the size of my army or has teched up and could easily destroy it.
I also have noticed how terrible my macro is, insanely terrible to be honest, I end up expanding way to late and even when it gets to the late game I don’t expand to a 3rd.
