My Dad used to play StarCraft a long time ago, and I'd like to show him a bit of the pro scene that exists today. So I'm looking for a game to show him. Ideally, the game would have as many of these as possible:
1) Involves Terran. Any matchup is acceptable, but TvZ least so: Siege Tanks are his favourite unit, and Siege Tanks are used more in TvT and TvP according to my (limited) knowledge.
2) A fairly quick game: He won't want to sit through a 30-minute game. (He probably would if he started watching, but if I was able to tell him the game was only 10 minutes, he'd be more likely to sit down and watch it in the first place)
3) Exciting! Everyone loves those breathtaking micro moments, so if we can include those, that'd be great!
So ideally, a TvX that involves siege tanks, that's reasonably short and involves some cool-ass micro. I know there's a lot of afficianados of BW pro games on this forum, so I ask for your knowledge Date is not a factor: While 2007+ is slightly preferred, I'm willing to go older, especially if Boxer is involved
unfortunately, if you really want your father to witness the glory of the siege tanks a fairly quick game wont do. but if you really want siege tanks, flash vs zero on polaris.
I remember there was a sick build forgg did vs some zerg.. was like 2 factory with 1 add-on and he sent tanks and vultures to zerg expo and killed him. I think it was jaedong lol

Alternatively you could go with almost any Flash TvP from Winners League 2010 when he had that early game timing push that no protoss knew how to deal with
oh yeah, speaking of shots of the crowd, just show him the Ace match of PL Grandfinals 10-11, Flash vs Best on Circuit Breaker. That way, he sees tanks (alot), the game is relatively short, and it shows him how big BW has become in Korea.
The Ace match was something I was considering before opening this thread, before I saw it's length. I figured he'd be really impressed at the play and the scene, but that'd be more of a second game to show him if he liked the first and was willing to sit through a longer one. I will check out the Flash vs. Bisu one, epic goon / vulture micro would likely impress him, as he would have never seen that kind of thing before, though he knows what a Spider Mine is and does. I'll also check out forgg vs. Effort, and pick one of those.
You could also check out some In_Dove VODS to watch in first person. I think that's something he would be awed at when he sees a former BW pro go at it at ridiculously high apm.
Or one of the Best vs Flash game on Fortress, maybe the one during PL final (crowd should be wild =) ). Flash has a lost of pretty short and sweet games with tanks <3 If he likes it and want something longer, he should definitely watch the Flash vs Zero game on polaris though, tanks imba at his finest =)

Is that the game where he used dropships + tank + endless harrass? If so, I approve Here it is.
Sorry, I don't have anything to contribute, but I like how the BW folks are like "this is a short game", and the game is 20+ minutes long. 20 minutes is longer than the typical SC2 game ;_;
YOU HAVE TO SHOW HIM IRIS VS SAVIOR. Watch the game urself first before showing ur dad and try to explain everything that is going on and whats not being showed on the screen becuz the observer cant keep up with whats going on.
I haven't seen the flash vs best game but the iris vs savior game is the only constant multitasking game I can think of in the back of my head. You should also show him bnet attacks to show ur dad the gosu apm and multitasking. Fantasy and baby have fast tvp's with tremendous harassing as well so u should check those out too.
In the iris vs savior game kim carrier says "are these players human?"
