KT.Stats vs STX.BoguS
I don't know how or why, but the current Proleague is producing many great games! I can't be more thankful for these wonderful year-ending presents!
This one is definitely my top 3 SC:BW moments of 2011.
Small background information:
KT.Stats is one of the best terran killers. However STX.BoguS has faced Stats 4 times, and won all 4 times.
KT.Stats plays extremely well, proving to us once again that he is the player to look forward to in 2012.
STX.BoguS performs brilliantly, drawing a lot of energy from his confidence against this particular foe.

It was a great game, but I think Bogus could have held the center base if he had been more careful / lucky with the mines he laid in his base. Anyway, he deserved to lose for letting his tank get sniped at the beginning.
His defense skills and determination to fight until the end were very impressive nonetheless.

I usually dont like tvp unless it's got some good players playing.
Thought bogus made a good comeback till he lost that big engagement against the zealot bombs.
and the repeated recalls that killed his double armory.

i dont think it was a good game at all, stats first got a huge advantage, and then his play became worse (since he knew its over anyway probably). He almost allowed a comeback, but it was because of stats poor play, not any particular good moves by bogus imo.
edit: except for maybe the depot +scv blocking acces to last tank, but if stats didnt a move but went from the top, it would be over right there (or he could just not attack at all and wait till terran moves out for an ez win/starve him)

Just watched it and yes, it was a great, great game. The reaction by the winner and his team was heart warming.

If that wasn't any good why do you bother watching? With those standards <1% of games are acceptable (unless you're a 'names' fanboy and prefer star power over game quality). Bogus vs Stats was fantastic and one of the best games this season. 94% (114) recommended in the LR is about as high a rating as a match can get.

Poor Bogus....he could have won that...but that kind of aggression is scary.... It's amazing that Bogus could even almost turned the game around....

If Stats didn't keep losing HTs to the random vultures the game would've been over way sooner imo. That's just my first impression of the game, I've only seen it once and realize my observations are very limited. But those HTs man, and some other mistakes (clearly mistakes, not just a good play by the opponent).
This was one of the better games we've seen this season but imo overrated. Both players showed some nice moves but both made mistakes. The fact a lot of people recommend the game is understandable since it was so back and forth, yet it doesn't tell you much about the actual quality of the game itself. Then again I might just be wrong.

It was quite painful to see those helpless HTs being sniped by vulture raids. And the one who was taken out by some overzealous mine dragged all the way by retreating speedlot
