EPTI came home, started SC2 and stared at the screen for a few moments then decided to play a team game as terran to warm up. I won the 2v2 and got placed into gold. I was kind of sad but then I remembered I played like one 2v2 last season
. Anyways I almost clicked the Search 1v1 then I noticed one of my favorite streamers was online, Bagel plays the classics :O He was playing a stupid christmas game but it was ok because he was hilarious. After he was done I logged onto mumble with my buddies from my old WoW guild. I talked with them for a bit then realized how badly I was delaying. I finally sucked it up and clicked the find match button. A few seconds later the loading screen popped up. A PvT on Tal'darim Altar, my best match up on my favorite map ♥. I spawned at the 2 o'clock base and him at the 10 o'clock. I opened up with a 1gate expo and scouted that he was doing a gasless 1rax expo. I then went into a kind of HuK style robo just for observers then go into a chargelot/archon kind of thing. I sent the first obs to his base and noticed he had a planetary at his natural T______T. A minute or so later I spotted a HUGE force of marauders and two or three tanks coming up to my base to siege my natural. I looked over and the moment I A-moved into his army charge and 1/1 finished ^.^, I lost most of my zealots but took all his tanks and a good chunck of his marauders before I pulled back. I waited for 2 more rounds of warp ins and he started to siege my natural again with 3 more tanks. I A-moved again but this time he positioned all his bio between two tanks so I could just force field them in and destroy them all with my +1 chargelots :DDDD.
I sat back a little after I murdered everything he had and took a third. I sent a stalker about to look for hidden expo's because I saw with my obs he hasn't tried to take a third base yet. Sure enough I found it with the stalker I sent to...stalk around I guess. It was at the 7 o'clock third, sitting next to the rocks because he was too lazy to kill them I guess or something. I was killing the base with my single stalker before he noticed and sent 1 SCV to repair it and morph it into a planetary. I moved the stalker to the other side of the rocks and just had it kill the SCV's there until he noticed. He never did, got like 12 kills on that one stalker lol. At this point though I'm at about a 140/200 food army with mostly zealots and about 4 or 5 archons and switching in colossus. I move forward a bit to get some pressure going, then I realize he transitioned into skyterran and destroyed my third with 5 or 6 cloaked banshees and a few vikings. I panic and queue up like 4 observers on my robo and wait till it gets out then he runs away T__T. I then start to make a lot more stalkers and start blink and my shield upgrade because I'm already at 3/3.
I start to move out again and my third is under siege again by those stupid banshees. I pull all my stalkers back and send my zealots over to his natural. I kill all the banshees and look over and notice my zealots killed everything in his natural, only one or two dying to the planetary. I warp in another round of zealots and then send everything there. A few moments later he GG's and get the whole victory thing. I go to the score screen, completely forgetting that it was a placement match and this lovely popup window appeared :
