I like to play team games as well as 1v1s because I think that it helps my over all game knowledge if I do both, you may disagree but I also find them very fun!  just as of today 12/3/11 I was finally ranked into a random 4v4 diamond league, something i have wanted sense i got this game! At the beginning of this season, after 30 games or so I was #1rst Bronze in 1v1, wich was bad considering that I at the same time I played with an RL friend in 2v2 and that we went quickly to #1rst Diamond (wich is still bad considering that we are doing heavy cheese games but for us it was really an achievement) while beating like +/- 20 master 1v1 players in those games (2v2). After that we started losing a bit more than 50% of our games so I started practising a lot more in 1v1 so that we would manage to get higher and it worked. With those 1v1 games you'll get better mechanics that you will use in 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4. It won't work the other way around. Playing in 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 won't get you better mechanics. (Imo one of the reasons would be that you won't get more than 1 expansion in 4v4 for example, so no real macro) | ||
