EPTI've always been a lurker on these forums but I felt it was a good time to make a blog post about the experience i had today.
Background: Since the day of Starcraft II's release, I have always been a huge fan of the E-Sports scene. I have always kept track of tournaments whenever I can, especially MLGs. I live in Providence and can't travel anywhere to see live events, as much as i wanted too. With MLG Providence, i was super excited. I heard about the meet-up at Providence Place Mall and knew I had to go to meet the pros!
Since i don't really go out much, the mall was unfamiliar. I went with my brother and a friend, and luckily they knew the way around. After a couple of minutes, we finally found the area of the meet-up, the AT&T store. There i got to meet Liquid'TLO! I was so excited. To finally see a Sc2 Pro in person was astounding (I was extremely nervous). I managed to get a picture with him as well, which was fantastic.

There was also a raffle where a couple of people can win. The prize for each winner was a goodies bag that had an MLG shirt, Sweater, and two VIP passes. My brother, friend, and I all signed up. Anyways, more on that later.
After entering, we decided to walk around the mall. While walking, not only did we get to see TLO, but also many other pros such as Hero, PuMa, Idra, Huk, and Jinro among others. Also present were people such as HotBid, Rich, Nazgul, and others.
After waiting and walking a bit, the 3 of us went back to the AT&T store at around 8:30 to see who would win the raffle. I think there were about 25 VIP passes that could be won (not sure). All of us were waiting anxiously, to see if at least one of us could win. What happened after was incredible.
ALL 3 of us managed to win the raffle, which meant each of us got a bag (granted, there wasn't many people present)! We took another picture with TLO with all of us holding our VIP passes that we luckily won. Was so epic, i don't think i've ever been more happier than that single moment.

Wrap-up: In the end, i look forward to the upcoming MLG Providence. I don't think Providence gets anything interesting much, so i will definitely look forward to it. I hope this wasn't too hard to read, as i'm not really good at writing. I decided to anyways since i was so excited and pumped up. I hope you enjoyed reading!
