Road To Gold Day 8

First game of the day, Finally not Protoss! Yippee!! I have been watching a lot of Col.Catz lately and he does a LOT of ZvZ, and luckily he has because It can in super handy. I noticed my opponent was going for fast roach ( 7 roach rush ) so I immediately threw down my evo chamber like Catz would and positioned my lings to they could attack from behind them and get the surround. for the rest of the game I continued to harass him, and every time I did so I was doing enough damage that I was able to drone behind it without fear of a counter attack. By the end of the game it ended with 37 drones for me, 27 for him, and 6 mutas rallied to his base.

LOL!! I totally pulled off the Catz base in your base build for the first time, It felt great! I always wanted to try it but always got scouted and lost. I made the hatch and a queen, drone with first larvae and made a spine crawler. Then started to make roaches. It could have went a lot better for sure, I could have expanded behind it, droned a bit more, and such, but overall it was a pretty fun game.

To easy? Not sure what build he went to be honest. He came and attacked me, and I cleaned it up super well. I got on 3 bases, and got mass roach and went to poke in and see if I couldnt do some damage and ended up winning the game.
My base in your base failed, but It delayed him quite a bit. It allowed me to get my natural up. I am going to watch replay to see how I could have improved, such as drone counts.

I dont know how to explain this game, He attempted to bunker rush me, and i held it off like a champ. I proxy hatched his main and went roach ling. We had a little chat, and he gg'd. Nothing to special, I could have droned harder I had all that extra larva sitting at home and I was only building off my hach in his base. Something I could improve on.

Terran went for bunker rush and I didn't have much, so I lost some drones and I felt really behind, He then processed to get a lot of hellions but I still held it off pretty good, Once I got the mutas out I started to get a foot hold back into the game, Denying him his expos, and defending off attacks that I thought I was going to lose. I eventually got back into the game and took the victory.

That's right, he was a plat. I did a Proxy hatch in his base but I ended up not doing it that great and he got voids which I didnt scout right away. I should have droned more this game, It could have made a huge difference. He eventually run me over with col and stalkers and I was pretty upset with myself until I noticed he was Plat.

Easy! Terran put no pressure on me at all, I just did some poking with Muta's, I started to use 123 as different hotkey for units again. ! - lings and blings 2 muta 3 infesters. So basically when it comes down to the winning battle I just rally all my units just out side his censor tower range, i distract him with my muta and I go in for the attack, I fungal his army and he gg's, I say gg. lol. because It was just so easy!

K so this game He did a few drops that actually kinda hurt me, but in the end I still won the game. My army was out of postion when he came and attacked my main and he managed to pick off a lot of my structures that I had to rebuild. Once again I want to watch replay to see how I could have done better. I thought he was ahead but i guess when I attacked his base he was not that ahead.

So This game was pretty ling baneling in the beginning, he teched to muta fast on 1 base, when I had 2. I ended up getting mutalisk as well and out massed him because I think I had a better eco then he did. I was little worried about the muta's when I scouted he had them, but I didnt want to leave the game without a fight, he could have ended the game with his ground force but luckily that was not the case.

Wtf is my promotion.. I should be gold If i'm playing vs plat. That's my mentality at least. Anyway I felt really good about this game, just had a good feeling, I got mutalisk out and did some harass, got my third up and started to mine from it pretty much on time, droned nice and steadily. He went marine, helion ghost, not the best composition I think. I just roflstomped his army by mistake, I was going to attack and he was on his way so my units auto attacked. Good job guys! So yeah, beat a bad plat, thought I was playing a Silver for a second. lawl. Why must I be Silver?

I thought I could win it early so I pushed and I didnt have enough and he Slowly ate away at my bad macro and I lost. Nothing to major about this game other then my macro slipped and he got on more bases probably by the end of it. overall, just a few mistakes added up and I ended up losing because of them. Oh well.

So obviously when I feel i am close to a promotion I start to get on a little losing streak! This blows man, I didnt scout his banshee soon enough and he did to much damage. I tried to hold off his attack but I couldn't manage. If i only got a couple more rounds of lings I could have held it off, or even if I had a extra handful on blings. Sucks losing, because It does nothing but bring me 1 step further to my goal.

So this game I came in with a ugh, i just lost 2, i need an easy win to bring me back up. So I decided to go +1 sling/bling and I managed to grab a pretty easy win actually. I did a lot of damage early and kept the pressure on as well. Pretty basic game, I just ling all in kinda ish? just made a lot of lings and a few drones and won. Gg.
