I could use som pointers! Please share with me anything you did that significantly contributed to your promotion out of Bronze. I have been matched up against Silver opponents and winning. However, before s4 started I played 6 games losing the first 5 in a row and winning the 6th. All of my opponents were mid/top Silver. They were all winnable games where I had the army lead, economic lead, and upgrade lead, but I was greedy and pushed too much trying to end the game.
For my s4 placement match I was in high hopes that I would be bumped up to silver. My opponent was another Bronze opponent, which I found puzzling considering I have been playing all silver. I beat my placement opponent in 9 minutes doing a 50 food push. The result? Still in Bronze. I've decided to abandon the 3 rax/expand 50 food push and just try to macro. I noticed that most people I'm playing seem to turtle like crazy which pretty much ruins any early success of the 50 timing push, other than a contain. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to completely change builds or keep doing the 50 food push. Either way, I'm going to mainly work on macro by defending any attacks and expanding. In every recent match I have beat my opponent to 200 food by at least 30, sometimes as much as 80. I think once I hit 200 would be a good time for me to attack and work on macro in bronze.
What worked for you? What helped you get out of bronze? How many games a day were you playing? (I'm playing 3 a day)
Any help would be appreciated!!!

It sounds like your builds are kinda silly and your macro might not be so hot. 50 food at 9 minutes? First of all stop doing that timing push. Do a 1rax expand or a 2rax expand, you can find them on http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Terran_Strategy. If your enemies are turtling this will be way better because your economy will own theirs. Just make sure you scout what they're doing, and if you have a hard time doing that then that's what you need to work on. If you add a replay it will help identify your problem better.

If you want to get better, play as many games as possible. Also, try things out, don't follow builds exactly and only work on the following 2 things 1) Spend money 2) Make workers to get more money
If you mass ANYTHING as terran, you will probably be able to win. Don't suicide up ramps, just keep making stuff, wait for him to go down and then win.

I just played the game to play and looked at my mistakes, watched Day[9], and worked on my macro. One thing that has really helped me is I did what Day[9] said and to focus on improving one thing and work on that till you got it down; Mine was injects I focused purely on Injects lost a few games but not my macros way better!
It just takes practice really.

Thanks a lot for the great info guys!
@Chocolate - Noted! I'm definitely going to take a look. As for the 50 push, what I meant was that the time 9mins is when he actually GG'd. I have 50 earlier than that. I was having great success w. this build before the patch, but I've had pretty much no success lately. It's only 5 seconds so I don't see what the big difference would be, but I'm going to take a look at the link you sent me and play around w. that tonight.
@ReketSomething - I'm pretty good at both of those. I've actually been over-saturating as of late. My friend told me that I'm having too many SCV's for too few bases. So I need to, as you said, spend my money and EXPAND!!!! (:
@Dustin - Thank for the help man. I watch Day9, but I mainly watch the Funday Monday. I'll look at more of his "Newbie Tuesday" series and find the particular shows you mention.

If you really were spending your money "pretty well", you wouldn't be in bronze . And yea, get a decent BO. Instead of playing your three games, spend the day watching reps/looking up BOs on Liquipedia and afterwards choose one you like for every match-up. Then just stick to it. DON'T be creative, DON'T use another builds.. if you lose, analyze why (don't overthink it, just realize what was the biggest mistake that caused you to lose and never ever repeat it) - assuming you chose a good build, there will always be a way to fix the mistake while keeping the basic build intact. I like FE builds as they will help you improve in all aspects of the game.. however they can be a bit frustrating as you'll die to silly strats a lot until you learn how to deal with them. Anyways, my builds of choice in Bronze were (and still are a few weeks later somewhere between Plat/Dia - haven't played my PM yet) 1 rax FE vP, Siege Expand vT and Reactor Hellion FE vZ. Honestly, doing a good BO and understanding how to adjust it should send you directly to gold league, at least. Unless you have ridiculously slow fingers/mind in which case there's not much we can do. I don't really think 3 games a day is enough if you really want to get better in shorter amount of time.. Generally if you're limiting yourself to a certain amount, it's bad. Just sit down and play as much as you can. Also watch these Dailies.. I don't know the exact numbers, but most of the Newbie Tuesdays are well worth it, the ones about mechanics especially.. unlike Funday Mondays, watching them is just wasting your time if you want to improve.

@andycz - Thanks for the help! I'm going to pick a build a new build this afternoon and work from there.

Post a few replays so people can see what you do I can't really offer any advice other than macro better / make workers / keep making rax / expand faster. ect. ect. Bunch of general information that might not really apply to you
+ Show Spoiler +but seeing as you as in bronze it probably all does x.x
