watched mvp lose games i expected him to destroy in :[.
Anyway I decided I would hop on and play some 4v4 after school yesterday, because I didn't have homework. "Well, this is gonna be a bad idea," quite obviously, was what I said.
I checked my rank and saw I was about 11th in my division, and I needed 150 points to take 1st. Ok. No way I'm doing that, right?
Well I kept playing. And playing. Until uh, about six hours later (and infinite games on deadlock ridge) ...
what. I took first. SIX HOURS OF 4v4. WHAT THE FUCK HAD I DONE. By the narrowest of margins
(apparently narrow means going 14-5) I had accomplished such a terrible task.
Success!
To celebrate, here's one of my games: (spoiler for pictures)
+ Show Spoiler +
Most of those games, probably about 14 of them were played as P, and the other 5 (I swear they weren't the losses) were R, and involved uh. Blink stalkers. I got terran 3 times, and no zerg . On the other hand the friend I was playing with had Zerg 6 times in a row playing random. :\.
Naturally, playing protoss AND 4v4 leads to a lot of silliness. I asked for a unit comp a few times and my friend gleefully suggested to me "phoenix speedobs DT." Naturally when my teammates asked for a plan, I simply repeated:
Of course, I was a liar. I neglected this and instead went double forge chargelots with phoenix. He isn't actually going to do it, right?
Little did I know....
I expressed my concerns over our unit composition as they attacked:
But apparently, zealot phoenix is too good!
During the battle, DTs had snuck into the enemy base!
And of course, we capitalized...
As they countered...
(those are dead hydras)
(at this point we agreed that "fuck this guy's base lol"
We needed to kill it though!
"wait for the roaches"
"ok go fucking kill them"
YEAHHHHHH
Phoenix roach zealot. too strong.
