Fuck I love walnuts. I need some now.
Can't you get them shelled at any bulk bin in a store that has bulk bins?

With shipping this is more expensive than the nuts I can buy in my local supermarket :/
edit: never had them shelled before... not sure if that's good enough or not for my need :p

Usually when I can't find things that meet my optimal specifications I start thinking of how I could make one. Out of these things, only one seems easy to make and that's the ball marker. It's a pretty simple tool that doesn't necessitate much precision. You'd get satisfaction out of making it and you could make it exactly how you want it. Think about it.
Good luck on the other items.

I was thinking maybe of putting together my own 3d printer at some point... if I do that I could probably print ball markers :p
Not sure how else to make one though...

I buy Walnuts at Sam's Club, but I don't know how much I pay. (They're shelled)

My family has a walnut farm in Australia, you jealous?

Pretty much any graphics card sold in the last 5 years supports dual monitors. You'll want to look at the ports on the thing, because some of them offer 1 DVI and 1 VGA, while others have 2 DVI ports (the latter is better). If you're okay with possible slight blurriness, it won't matter.

You should be able to dump your points into some electronics. Maybe that 2nd monitor.

I had to use an old driver version to get my setup to work right though (taskbar and desktop icons on the right one).

Yea I was thinking of getting a dell gift certificate (points are exchanged 1 to 1 on gift certificates) and getting a monitor from them. I'm worried it won't work with my graphics card though (based on googling I did).
I have two side-by-side white DVI outputs it looks like, so I guess that's good.
Was thinking maybe of an ~20 inch widescreen monitor...

Sure, walnuts are fine and dandy, clearly almonds win though!

Keep in mind a 20" 16:9 widescreen will have a much shorter screen than your 19" 4:3, so you may want a bigger one (they usually only tell you the diagonal, but you shouldn't have any problem doing the math yourself :p). 16:10 (1920x1200 res) tends to be better for games, but they're pretty hard to find these days.
Btw, if you don't mind waiting a month, there's always tons of good monitor deals on Black Friday.
edit: that :9 smiley needs to go =/

Dual monitors don't need to be the same make, model, resolution, or aspect ratio. However, having the same resolution makes things easier. Coming from 16:10 dual 1680x1050's, I can say that a single 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 would probably be better by itself than combined with your 4:3, though. More uniform, looks sharper, etc.

Maybe grow walnut tree? My parents has a huge one and I don't like walnuts very much

I've ordered from that website recently with someone else. If you buy enough of it, the shipping becomes pretty reasonable.
They're really, really good. I recommend that company

I'll also consider a bigger 16 monitor to more closely match the vertical distance of the 4:3 I have.

looks like yes there will be deals...hopefully one that is good for me

All nuts are pretty expensive except for peanuts. Walnuts are much less likely to go on sale than other types of nuts like Almonds orPistachios. Blue Diamond Almonds or Wonderful Pistachios go on Buy 1 Get 1 Free occasionally at the grocery stores where I'm from. I doubt anyone would have a lower price than a megastore like Wal-mart.

Walnuts have the highest antioxidants, 7 Walnuts = daily antioxidant requirement Almonds have the highest protein %, I eat them during the day before exercising.
Both are equally healthy, really peanuts and cashews are the only unhealthy nuts (especially the roasted/salted ones from supermarkets).

BECAUSE THEY ARE FUCKING DIMES YOU MORON Dimes don't have a root that pushes into the ground. They also aren't the best color for visibility from far away.

I don't want bulk... I only need 1 or maybe 5 lol. My previous ball marker lasted me for several years...
|
They don't sell them any other way. The only way to acquire less than 250 ball markers is to either go expensive with personalized/magnetic/fancy ones, or to get them at a pro-shop that gives them out for free. I think I have some that size somewhere in my bag...but I just use whatever coin happens to be in my pocket at the time...and so does everyone I have ever played golf with. Actually spending money on a ball marker is pretty much admitting that you are a giant douchecanoe...a dime will work perfectly fine.

You can buy small packs of ball markers. I'm just having trouble finding them in the size I want.
I have played several rounds with the type of ball marker I like, several rounds with ball markers I don't care for, and several rounds with various coins. I've been using a dime in the meantime but I prefer what I described in the OP. If you aren't able to find what I'm looking for then that's no problem.
Calling me a douchecanoe because I have a ball marker preference is actually kind of pathetic.

micro....it's me. You know I'm never serious. Last year my course had markers like the one you described but I can't find any otherwise I'd either figure out where to get them or send you some. Have you tried a 'golf superstore' like golf galaxy? (idk if u have that in your area though.)

#1 Some women belts are pretty small, you just have to find one that doesn't look too girly, shouldn't be that hard - just go to the women section of the shop or a shop for women. xD
