White-Ra was in the TwitchTV offices yesterday, and the fine folk there were gracious enough to throw a mixer for all those that were interested. Quite a number of people showed up, and much fun was had watching White-Ra kill challenger after challenger :D

Filters? Looks like some minor color adjustments to me, Looks like a sepia tone filter was used and a bit of B&W...what's the problem? These are some of the better pictures I've seen from any starcraft event, but I guess people will complain about anything.
Are there any VODS or replays of WhiteRa vs average players?

It is painted, the guy originally was a hot white girl with long curly blond hairs, but they didn't meet their racial quota, so they had to paint his face and edit out his hair.

D'aww, I had to miss this to do laundry and get ready for Blizzcon, but I have talked to WhiteRa like 10 of the last 15 days, so I guess that's a pretty good ratio. =P

I think what you're actually responding to is the massive increase in creativity and artistic activities among the population that has taken place over the last 40 years or so. Some choose to do this through the use of filters, and as an artist, I don't see anything wrong with that.
I guess I don't understand why you guys would express disdain over the photographer's use of filters, did you feel that WhiteRa being in Sepia tone took something away from your viewing experience?
