Hi guys this is Klazart bringing you another audio commentary and this time I'm commentating on game one of a Proleague Finals between CJ Entus and LeCaf Oz Um, what an exciting match up to look forward to, this is between Iris and Jaedong. And I've got to say it right here guys, ever since I heard this match up I've been drooling, salivating and producing all sorts of other bodily fluids at the prospect of this...
Wherever you are Klaz, thank you. You are truly one of the most magnificent casters to ever grace a VOD. You may never cast again but you still draw fans, both new and old, every day. Thank you.
Loved Klazart and Cholera. Shame that Moletrap gets so much shit these days, I respect all the people who casted and put in a ton of time even when they weren't getting anything for their work.
Dear old Klaz. He was the first English caster that I found on youtube that I listened to consistently which eventually brought me here. I do miss the fellow even though he only begrudgingly liked Bisu (old Savior fan).
If only the english commentators of old would come back to the Starcraft realm...*sigh* SC2GG and these commentators were the ones that introduced me to the wonderful world of Starcraft.
I remember listening to Klazart's casts back in the day, which alongside with July and oOv, got me into pro-BW hardcore. Definitely was the most entertaining foreigner caster of all, due to his passion and speed which almost matched The Marine. I remember the actual cast where he said he kicked his wife out of the bedroom, but it was okay, because he had sex with her first today atleast.

Looking back, Klazart was extremely entertaining in everything he did: Commentating, starting drama on the forums, starting drama with his book, etc. Those were the golden days of drama haha

Yeah seriously, he was the catalyst for everything a few years back.
It's not even that long ago, but i'm getting all nostalgic.
To this day, I consider it a major failing to have lived within a few miles of Klazart, emailed back and forth and never asked him if he wanted to grab a drink.
Now? He might as well be lost to us foreve- unless... unless!

It seems like a lifetime ago since SC2 brings more and more drama daily.
speaking of klazart I was looking through my old pm's and I saw some activity from the epic authonomy drama Klazart started back in the day. Anyone remember that? definitely one of the more memorable TL/bw community occurrences for me.

that was so cool.
dude just call her Mrs. Klazart like he does, female Klazart sounds weird.
Klazart is the reason i found TL, and listening to his commentary was really entertaining. He was not always rigth in his analysis, but his cast were EPIC !!
I heard about SC being played professionally in Korea. I googled it. I found Klazart. He mentioned Teamliquid. That's how i got here.... Greetings Klazart, if we meet one day i'll buy you a beer :-)
(Btw back then some of the threads on this site came across very elitist, bashing the Youtube casters at nearly every opportunity. IMO this is much better now.)
Diggity needs more love. Together with Klazart they were my favorite commentators. They got me into BW.
They contributed so much to community... Though at TL people often bashed them. But they were amazing for introducing people to BW when you had close to no idea what was going on. But even after I switched to Korean I would go back and watch their commentaries just to feel the hype - in that Klazart was a master!
klazart introduced me to SC BW, such an iconic caster. And even though I didn't understand a word he said when he got excited, the pure passion kindda rubbed off on u :D

Oh I definitely remember that. Accidentally crashed their forums for a bit with Klaz fan traffic. It is funny the sort of drama he was wrapped up in. At the time there was was quite a few at TL that didn't appreciate him so much, but he really was the pre-Husky gateway drug that led a lot of people to TL and the BW proleagues.
Oh man, so much nostalgia wrapped up with this guy. It was also pre-scandal where Saviour was going to destroy everyone in 2009, so naturally Klaz was pretty pumped.
You were amazing. You must see the commentators of today and shake your head. You must see Moletrap getting his due. You must see that your fans want you.
Dear Mrs. Klazart
Please let Klazart come back to us, just one game a week, that is all we ask.
I miss Cholera, whenever I go back to his youtube channel in the hope he started casting again all I see is comments from people wanting him to cast again. I wonder what happened to him.
Klazart! His commentaries got me into brood war like so many it seems. The excitement he brings with him is definitely unmatched besides korean commentators.
Thank you. Everyone. I wanted to show my appreciation to Klazart but I didn't know how someone who has arrived as recently as myself could sincerely express gratitude. He's been a name in the legend of BW. Every post here has done it for me and if I may say so- better than I could have.
Klazart, I hope one day you read this. It's been years now and you still draw recognition. To Klazart!
I'll add something, a bit late maybe but anyway. I'm another one of those who got there thanks to him. The first whole game of starcraft I watched was his commentary of sAviOr vs Firebathero (MSL Ro8 game 1 @Python). Years later, despite his inability to call a build order correctly, I still have to thank him for his amazing commentaries and his enthusiasm. Thank you Klaz, I owe you a lot =)
Klaz's commentary for the GOMTV MSL S2 finals was the first English casting for SC I'd ever watched, and the first time I ever felt like I could understand what the hell was going on in the game. I owe it to him that I actually began to love watching SC. Thanks bro *sniffle*

I just have to chime in myself... because that was the first game I watched too! Oh my god i still remember the heart break. Saviors loss cemented me forever as a zerg fan, I was so angry that terran came back and won after zerg had done so well. Battlecruisers slowly destroying everything with Yamoto cannons... I think I should watch it again.
I've never played a game of starcraft since the days of N64 but I've been an avid fan ever since thanks to Klazart. Strangely enough I don't remember how I found the video to begin with. All I remember is long nights and early mornings, snuggled up to my computer with some toaster strudles; with Klazart pouring his heart out all the while.
And thanks Chill for mentioning the author site (authononomus?? something like that...) Anyway, one comment will always stick with me from there. When we all upvoted Klazarts book we became top talent spotters and waves of blank photos overtook the top spots on their website. The writers there worded it much more eloquently, but their comments of being overrun by the faceless followers of Klazart was some of the best literature I've had the pleasure of reading on the internet.
Really great times. I couldn't have asked for a better personality than him to take my hand, with all his fanboism, and teach me through example the fervor a true fan holds within.
Wohooo, Klazaaart! I wept tears of nerd sadness and miserableness when this blog came out and I was (request) banned, so I couldn't comment to show my explosive love for this most amazing of irishmen.
He is so well-spoken and well-articulated while still being amazing at talking fast and keeping up with the action, and occasionally making some inappropriate jokes.
"...Just kind of imagine Reach, waking up in a sleazy motel, and through the door comes Tossgirl with the BIGGEST STRAPON..."
"...And, uh, to use slightly crude language, I think Movie jizzed in his pants a little early, I think he blew his chances at that early frontal assault on Flash' natural..."
"and, uh, Miss klazart is calling us misoginystic pigs right now and saying Reach will be manhandled by tossgirl.... Well, uh i'll manhandle her later..."
I've never sat down and watched Klazart, despite high recommendation and active mention, before this thread. Am I the only person who now, after this thread, is a Klazart fan?
Just saw Probe, great to hear from him, more people should see it. Totally read the post in his voice too, but then it was just as enthusiastic and great as I'd expect!
