First class is over, the first exam is written, and my first points has been collected. I'm also currently the graphics designer for three separate games in the making, more updates about that further down the road. :D
But this time I'm not going to write about that, no. Because there's more important stuff going on - ESPORTS!
In my last blog I wrote that I joined a club, and well, I've been active as hell in that club. The purpose of the club is to simply have fun and create events where people can come and have fun. I had my first event two weeks ago (Pokémon night! ) and it was a success. Now though, I'm doing another event. Tomorrow, we're having a SC2-tournament here!
It's been in the making for the past couple of weeks, I've hyped it up as much as I can here, and everything that can be arranged in advance is arranged. We have a trophy for the winner, we've invited two casters, booked the biggest auditorium we have available for people to come and watch the games, and we have at least eight players - enough to start at least quarter finals! More people are bound to show up though since there's no preliminary registration required! ^^
Unfortunately there won't be a stream for TL to enjoy - the casting will be in swedish anyway and we won't have the time to set up a stream. It'll have to wait until next time. ;D For those of you in the area however, you're welcome to show up and watch the games live! :D The matches are held here at DSV in Kista, Stockholm, and starts at 17:30 (5:30 PM) local time. Just enter through the main entrance and follow the signs to Sal A.
I'll post a more extensive blog after the event, sharing my experience in holding a small tournament, probably on wednesday (since the tournament will go until after midnight on tuesday). Right now I'm sitting in class, writing up something short since I'd completely forgotten to hype this here on TL. xD
Until then, good luck have fun!
