I've had my current laptop for almost 3 years now, and the screen just failed and I've been having a lot of battery problems and it's just been pretty bad for a few months now.
With the screen going out I decided I'm not going to put any money into it anymore so I've decided I'm better off buying a new laptop.
I'm pretty much just looking for a laptop that I can use for school, and play a bit of SC2 and D3 whenever that comes out, and some emulated games. So other than SC2 and D3, the only heavy stuff I'll be using is CAD, either solid edge or AutoCAD. The rest is just doing reports in word processors and spreadsheet programs.

I really am not looking to spend a whole lot of money, but obviously I want something that is quality and will take me another 3 or so years to replace.
If you guys had any thoughts or recommendations I would appreciate it immensely as I'm very indecisive when it comes to spending my money.
