Hiho again, making another blog ^^
Just liked to share what is going on at the moment and your thoughts on how I could correct this...
So basically yeah all of the time throughout the last year at school me and my mates would wind up girls and basically try and get a reaction out of them for a laugh. We only did it in what we thought was not particularly harmful to them as none of our jokes were tasteless, but you know I got known as a dick to the girls and nobody else did for some reason and it really confused me but I didnt really care.
But that was what happened for the most part and to be honest at the time again I really didnt give a shit about girls opinions and the whole thing about getting girls as the only thing I cared about was talking about the latest football going ons.
So fast foward to 3 months afterwards and I think I have emotionally matured to the point where I actually want to you know, get a girlfriend. Last " romantic interest " I had was yeeaars ago so it doesnt count of course. So anyway whenever I try to approach a girl these days, and when I try to strike up a conversation while we are studying or whatever they always snap back at me and whatever I say they take as some kind of insult against them because of girls going of some kind of word of mouth thing that I was a asshole. I got to say I have made a concious effort to be nice in general to girls for a while now and for some reason they always find a reason to complain about me.
EXAMPLE : I walk into our maths class and I sit down and the bitch who on our seating plan ( chilidsh I know ) was sat next to me and she immedietly starts bitching at me for apparantly bullying her when I asked the person sat next to me how she got the answer to the problem, and she thought the question was directed at her and she kicked up a massive fuss. Then every girl looks over and I bet they were thinking oh, Josh is doing his usual, and I just feel at a loss.
I after watching the film hitch a while back always remembered the line that the key to getting a girl is making her best friend think your nice or whatever but I know for a fact if I ask someone out they will tell their friends about it and they will tell her that they shouldnt be with me since I have a unearned reputation for being a dick to girls.
And again after thinking about it probably the main reason at the start for me poking fun at girls with my friends wasnt because I wanted to be funny but because I felt it was the only way I could get attention from the girls I liked... Its really irrational and I really regret it but I guess thats just how it is.
Not sure if anybody else has been in the same situation as me but if so could anyone tell me some kind of solution to it? I have tried to be nice but they just bite back at me and im just thinking what the fuck I should do.

On my way to school everyday there was a sticker on a stop sign that said "DON'T BE A DICK" that was the best advice I ever got.

I got girl's attention because I had a funny accent, worked way better when they speak a language I don't.

Yeah fair enough that would be a start, but she really is a sarcastic, misinformed and full of her self indivudual who follows every hipster trend that comes along. I can assure you that I dont refer to every girl as a " bitch "

Well actually it kind of does matter, I get the impression from what people were posting that I refer to every other girl as a " bitch " as if I felt I was above them or some shit but that is not the case. I feel someone who had the personality that she had is worthy of being called one.

Are you at college? I find it hard to believe EVERY girl at your school knows you're a dick. Find a new group of girl friends, don't be a dick to them.

Nah I am not in college and hmm yes thats actually true but I think MOST of the people who I would want to talk to/ have been friends with in the past are in the demographic of people who think I am an asshole. Of course i have friends who for the most part know me as a nice guy so maybe I did over-exaggerate but they are people who I dont feel attracted to at all / out of my league.

I think the UK works differently to america, like if you went up to a girl and gave her flowers or something they would probably look at you and laugh rather than feel touched. Just the way things are where I live.

No, it worked very well for a young female I know who is from West Yorkshire. Try it anyways is my suggestion :x
