Hello again, welcome!
To artists' corner, where we get to share our gaming art! This week I've been mostly catching up on the NASL, which I'm having fun watching  I've been happily doing paintings and that (of varying degrees of quality, but always fun) for some time now, so let's dive right in!
This week's theme I set was 'Protoss', and this is the result:

Zealots are my favourite unit, I grossly over-use them! This painting (acrylic) took about 5 hours, I took my time because it was going so well

I also love the zealot. but i hate the "We cannot hold" shout out. Often i find it to be a pessimistic estimate that makes me loose faith in my tier one melee unit.

This is awesome! I'm not a protoss player but damn thats some good shit. You have some serious skills. I think it would be awesome if you got in talks with major tournament organizers to somehow give one of these away as a prize or something. Very cool. I would love to see your skills in reaper form

Thanks guys Have to say "We cannot hold" is the most annoying thing a zealot says. Anyone notice they seem to say it much more when they aren't on screen? Complete attention-hogs 
I'd love if tournament people were interested, hadn't thought to ask anyone! Glider does amazing portraits of pros that I believe were used in tournaments Reapers! Hate them, can never deal with their harassment, but they look so cool, would love to try painting one at some stage, will add it to the list.

I would love to see a painting of a zealot trying to open a jam jar, but the psiblades keep getting in the way.
The caption would be, "We cannot hold."

I think its the greatest thing in the world when 10 zealots shout we cannot hold when under atk by 2 zerglings.

Off topic kinda but I think it would be cool if the units relayed an assessment of the battle based on what units and how many are close to your units. For example, the Zealot would still say "We cannot hold!" if two of them were getting attacked by 4 roaches, but if it was 4 zerglings they could say something not so pessimistic?
Never going to happen, I just think it'd be neat

I imagine contextual batte reports would be manageable from a programming perspective, but imagine what they'd have to cover! The new sound files would make for a huge update
