EPTI haven't put up a blog post, actually any post, in a very long time as I haven't played Starcraft since January.. I have been super busy with school and I am taking a semester off to travel and work and have booked a one month trip to Seoul with a friend and girlfriend! They will depend on me as they are both white lol!
I am super stoked for the trip and will definitely be making it over to the GOM studios to meet some pro gamers and watch a game. Although both my friend and girlfriend have no interest in starcraft, they have agreed to spend a day checking out the pro gamer scene as they even know that Korea is the spot for e sports!
I know that a ton of you guys are not native koreans and I am planning to create a website with a daily blog for a whole month from Korea. We will most likely be checking out every single tourist hotspots like sightseeing and amusement parks, and checking out things such as the Korean night life, casinos(foreigners only in Korea lol!), FOOD(duh), DMZ and any other thing we can think of. We also have a plane ticket booked to go to jeju island for a couple days and also a ticket booked to japan for about 4 days so that will be included as well.
The blog will be up no matter what even with no interest here but I thought I'd throw it up here in case you guys were curious about Korea on the inside besides e sports. I haven't been there in 13 years so it will be a new experience for me as well!
We will be leaving from Edmonton to San Fran and than to Korea Sept 26. Feel free to give some recommendations on what to do and see while we are there and some things you guys would want to see or know about in Korea as we have a ton of time and almost unlimited resources(total douchebag statement but we saved lol)
