Also, there is a divergence between what tl.net mods find valuable content and what I find valuable. As long as a poster is polite, his opinion is generally welcome (even if it doesn't have much substance). For me, unless there is something striking about the post (which could include flaming/insults) the post doesn't have value. I got my first warning the other day for calling someone a retard (or stupid, or something like that). The guy was clearly a retard. The TL.net of yesteryear would have no problem with me calling him on it. | ||
