Being sad about what? Sounds like you're being selfish here. Loyalty is a very valuable tool, but every person has to be loyal to themselves. HuK made a tough choice, even though he was a great team-liquid member. The only way you can be sad about this, is if you don't care about huk. And only care about Team-Liquid.
I compare this, to a NFL player leaving his team for a bigger salary. Ya the fan is going to be upset, because his loyalty lies with the team, regardless of who comes and goes, the fan follows the sport. And Football is a team sport, unlike starcraft where it's a 1v1 sport. Making teams just a support group.
Anyone who is disapointed in HuK. is like the OP said, FUKEN RETARDED.
You know. as an E-sport, all of this immaturity is really painful to watch, all of these drama lovers commenting on players team movements. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!
Starcraft is new, we are one big GROUP, all supporting the same thing. SC2 COMPETITION! People have to look at the bigger picture about this game as a sport.
Too be frank, I just think that alot of people dislike EG as a whole. Because they are willing to stick their neck out, Look at Incontrol. A great guy, who took alot of internet drama because of his Jokes... He doesn't even feel like his casting was as valuable as it was to the NASL. (when too most viewers he was the Star of the NASL, during the first 7 or so weeks I TUNED IN EVERY SINGLE NIGHT because of how much fun I had watching the NASL with incontrol and awkwardtorp.
This kind of bullshit only hurts our players and organisations and even worse. Could possibly impact sponsors.
Personally, I always had "Favored" players, mostly it's based on how much they impress me. Players grow on me. HuK was the first pro player I really liked, followed, and looked up all his videos I could find. Seeing this kid from Ontario, where I grew up from. Entertain me, and become better over time has made me HIS FAN.
AS A HUK FAN,
I AM HAPPY for him. He is getting PAID to play the game! I am happy he can now make an really worthwhile living Playing this game. Because his dedication has meant alot to sooooo many fans.
So too anyone who flames huk. Get you're brain damage cheked. Afterwards, cut yourself till you smile.

400 years from now people will read the words of Rekrul as scripture, and it will be glorious.

puma has talents, but his talents had no place to shine in bw because there are many other much brighter talents shining in that scene, idra on the other hand had no talents whatsoever, wasting his time in korea for 2 years and still got noob bashed by F91. Hence EG only having 2 talented players on their team. puma and huk.

Summed up my thoughts pretty well. 5/5 well said.

I wasn't on any particular bandwagon far as the HuK transfer was concerned, mostly just remaining a HuK fan (why wouldn't I? I was a fan before he was on liquid so lol)
But damn Rekrul, you're dropping some cold hard facts in here. I find myself compelled to agree with you fully on this matter. Including the pimp status of Dario Wunsch.
tl;dr Rekrul = Correct

Stopped reading at the end of the rant, haha.
Good job turning down Rek for going out and "having a good time" and staying him and staying focused. Good luck, Chris.

Interesting in that it's similar to the TSL-EG thing with Puma, where TSL (or whoever) thought that they were losing a homegrown player wrongly. I think a lot of TL people see TL as being a down-to-earth, mom-and-pop team, and having Huk leave after being on the team feels like a betrayal for money.
This happens in sports too - in the NFL or NHL for example, if a standout player leaves for more money at the end of a contract people might feel a little betrayed. OTOH most understand and would do the same - follow the money.
I hope Huk has taken into account the level of competition that the new EG korea house can offer - Ogs-TL had some serious pros, I don't know what EG has besides Puma.
Rek does make a good point in that this is actually good for esports (to use that phrase): having players moving and following the money leads to more competition from teams for players (i.e. more money being thrown around for contracts/buyouts). If every player follows an informal rule of almost never changing teams, no matter how big a contract is given, then there is less of an incentive for teams to offer money for players.

You quoting him and speaking out about bans makes it okay for me to quote you and voice my opinion that you deserve a ban.
