Yet another day (night) of me fighting my way into diamond. Today has been pretty good tbh. I had set my self 2 goals today:
1) To do a successful hatch first in ZvZ.
This made me feel real good, finally I have overcome my cheesing days. I now have a reliable
build to utilize. I was getting sick of the good old ling/bane micro battles - and the really unstabile
6-9pools. These builds make me feel like I have no understanding of the MU and that I suck (which
I still do), but the new build lets me play my real style ---- Macro Zerg!
2) To counter a FFE by taking 4th before making defence - other than spines -
Once again this makes me get the feeling of how this MU should be played, which will serve as a
key element in my improving. And it also makes me utilize my playstyle to the fullest. Just to see
my 5 bases after 15 min with 80 drones on them is soooo satisfying. Aswell as seeing swarms of
roaches march into his army and obliterating it =]
Nobody probably cares about how my improving is going and how I feel about it. But it helps me think about stuff.
