AKA the oh-snap-you-can't-actually-create-a-legitimate-research-project-in-six-weeks two weeks.
However, these paper have been successfully completed for the past 48 or so years, so I'm guessing everyone just pounded out decent paper without getting a great quantity of research done. Obviously it varies widely, but most research takes a long, long time--just common sensical stuff.
So I'm getting off of TL for the time being, but I am in dire need of a new computer (I have the crappiest of the crap Dell computer right now, and it practically cannot even run the basic software I need for my research, and is generally very, very old and seemingly about to die), and I wanted to ask you guys about the following three computers, though suggestions are fine too, of course. I'm just posting this as a last little thing I was wondering about before it's extreme hardcore work in order to prepare a paper and also to contribute something significant. I really want to be able to continue my research after the program, so I want to do a very good job.
I only want 17-inch+ laptops because I'm used to it, so here we are.
