EPTTomorrow I'll be having my last exam, time to let all the stress go and have a good time you're probably thinking. Not for me, to be honest I'm not really into the drinking and partying scene, I think it's just people making fun of themselves and relying on alcohol or whatever kind of drugs kids today need for something interesting to happen.
The last thing what I need in my life are 'friends' who drag me into all that shit. No I'm gonna have fun the old fashioned way: the starcraft way.
Starting tomorrow I will really try getting to know sc2. I haven't set any goals yet but since I've been diamond some time now I think I'm gonna aim for high masters.
First couple of days I will just focus on increasing my APM artificially. Later on I will start to study each MU individiually and practice the crap out of 2 builds for each. I'm going with 2 because IMO some maps really require adjustment.
I'm looking forward to the next week and I will probably make an update then. Oh i forgot to mention: i'm making a raceswitch to protoss
. I started out playing protoss, switched to zerg merely because a friend told me it was the hardest race (and I like a challenge). I love the macro, the speed, the power, the replenishment rate, the infestor, the brood lord and ofcourse (my favorite) the muta. But I'm just tired of defending, for me it's waiting until i get mutas for the games to get interesting. Balance has nothing to do with my choice, terran is too slow in my hands and I like the unit diversity protoss has.
Goodbye swarm, we had a good run, I hope blizzard doesn't buff you too much in HOTS now :p.
I was kinda joking in the start for the people who made it this far. Unfortunately in the middle of my exams the gods abandoned me and put a curse on me as they left
. So that's why my options are limited, my girlfriend just took a plane to Portugal to go digging Indiana Jones style and I can't exercise or go out which means I'll just be able to watch some movies at night with my friends.
Maybe the gods blessed me with all this free time to play sc2, i don't know.
