Hey Everyone!
So if you stalk my blog, which none of you do...
You would know i won a bronze to gold tourney about a week ago! I put in a lot of practice and time and really did well on the ladder. But after the Tourney ended i felt great but completely sucked on the ladder again! I was using the same builds i practiced and won with but was getting no luck. has this ever happened to you? and if so can you help explain why I'm messing up so bad?
yeah i know i may just "completely suck" and should "stop playing"
But guys give me some real answers If you would please If you want to watch my game play and help critter me and tell me what i can do better find my stream on here or at stream
Thank you all for taking the time to read this blog i know its silly but i could really use some help
**BTW** Thanks Kenny for the help and Coaching!

Perhaps you simply ran out of motivation? Then the answer is simple - go enter another tournament! :D
I'd be willing to bet that winning the tournament and other ladder matches have propelled you forward in the ladders, and now you're being placed against better opponents...
Anyways, good luck in your journey, and congratulations on winning the tournament (and getting better)!

well yeah im not live now! i will be tomorrow night around hopefully 9 PM PST. sorry for the misunderstanding
And thank you! Abenson i will be sure to keep going and ill enter in more tourneys! thanks for the advice

You must have been up against really good players if that is the case. Don't let that discourage you, man. Keep on playing and make the necessary refinements if need be.
|
if you have been winning on the ladder beforehand, your matchmaking rating went up. therefore you get matched up with better players. them beating you is just a way of finding out you're not as good as the system thought you might be.
|
You're just being placed against better players. Happens to everyone getting better.
Watch your replays and figure out why you are not winning your games. If it is specific builds, then you need to adjust to be able to kill it, if it's not then look at basic econ management or composition type stuff.
And congrats on winning that tournament!

One thing that I have found is after I practice a lot and then have this sence of acomplishment I sort of loose focus and become slopy. Look back on your replays from the games that you feel you are doning poorly on now and compair them to what you want your builds to look like. State in your head "this is what it should look like" and then see how it actually looks find out why it doesn't look like you want it to and just state a way you can improve it and try to do so using that method. Just what I think though and I am hardly a master.
