So I normally don't do these kind of posts. But for a site like TL, I think its worth it. I originally was led to TL by mrmin123, a long time, great friend that I've never had the chance to meet in real life. My original home on the internet was over at the Relic forums, along with min, and even heyoka was hanging out there; it was the home for all things Homeworld and, well, I spent quite many a year with that community - about a decade now.
All through that time, even the Relic forums had its Starcraft fangroup. It mostly consisted of trolling each other year over year on fake SC2 announcements, and having some FFAs with the players there. Occasionally, a proleague video would make it onto the forums to illustrate how crazy those Koreans were over Starcraft. I never really payed too much attention until one day, a GOM league popped up and I began to watch live SCBW matches casted by Tasteless. min lead me towards TL where I lurked for a while, only bothering with the livestreams.
Then came the summer of 2009. The summer of the great Batoo OSL, and the opening of the SC2 Beta signups. I didn't catch the finals live, but when I eventually saw the VODs, together with ever increasing SC2 hype, I knew it was time to finally register.
I can say without regrets, I've had a blast here. Discovering and discussing all the new things and new strats about SC2 in an unparalled, civilized manner. Joining the SCBW crew week in and week out and fully experiencing the players who I've only saw whispers of from VODs and Pimpest Plays from years past.
... and of course, the never ending e-drama 
I'm not a eloquent writer and there are many things I'd love to contribute to TL but can't, so you can catch much of my better contributions at the Tech Support forum, and my occasional wacky maps in the Custom Maps seciton.
But really, if there was only one thing I could tell all of TL -
An eternal thank you to anyone and everyone who's ever streamed BW. Here's to years more of Starcraft.

My 1000th post was an incorrect analysis on the mafia forum 
I came to TL with the release of SC2. I spent over 6 months lurking, then finally made an account with the intention of sharing a map I made. The map turned out to be terrible, but my experience on TL has been quite the opposite.

i joined TL, because I really hadn't heard of it before. my friend got me into starcraft when i first moved here, and since then ive been addicted. but i think i first heard of TL when my friend's brother (SeRapH, sup? btw BeSt still sucks xD) told me about it. i got an account, and although after about 2 months and like 4 or 5 temp bans, ive really gotten the hang of navigating around TL and sharing my ideas. TL, thanks!
