Regardless, I've started on and off, basically giving up with 1v1 because my anxiety gets to me before the countdown ends after I select quick match. This month though, this is the month I really want to work past that anxiety, work over the initial macro mechanical hurdles and start my run towards actually having more fun than panic during games.
So as of today, March 24th (ten days after my birthday) I've started. I'm keeping a journal of games I play and progress I feel that I'm making. What to improve on is in my sights, but moreover how can I have more fun as I play the game. Slowly I feel that I am learning more and more.
I decided that I'll be playing either Random or Zerg, but it seems that Zerg is what I feel most comfortable with even though I'm still getting over the "when to drone and when to fight" bump. Regardless, if anyone would like to get in touch to practice, spar or even coach I'm completely open with too much free time.
Thanks for reading!
